Mark didn’t wait for Soledad to send him her email address. He preferred to send his questions to the woman by message so that he could forget about that chore. Then, he asked Anna and Josh to join him in his temporary office.
Waiting for the two detectives, Mark looked around him with critical eyes. He did need to clean that office and soon. In less than two days, Leah would come back from her honeymoon.
She wasn’t supposed to start work until next week, but he couldn’t count on that. The lieutenant might want to come at the office and see her colleagues. If so, Mark was done.
