A JOB.

No, I don't ever want her to know what it is, when the right time comes, she will know about it, but for now, no. "You have to let her know, this isn't right, Cathwulf." "Mom, I don't ever want her to know about it. This is insane, mom.' "Insane? I'm making a point here and you are calling my statement insane." I sighed and ruffled through my hair. "Mom, please try to understand me. She's my mate and I've been looking for her for years…" "And you gave up on that dream a long time ago, why do you want it back? Why can't you just forget about this and move on!" "I can't do that. I've always yearned to have a mate, mom, someone to call my own and now, I've found her and I can't just stop thinking about her. She's all over my head.' I blurted as I yelled, and then I realized that I shouldn't have shouted at my mom, which I shouldn't have done anyway. "I'm sorry, mom." I apologised. "Do you want to accept her as your mate?" "Yes, mom," I muttered. "What about the clan, how are you going to face Sabrina…" "Leave her out of this. I will…will handle her." Athena's Pov. "And she has a boyfriend,' he rolled his eyes at her as he interrupted. I was surprised. "And who might that person be?" I smirked, raising one of my brows as I showed a mischievous smile. "It's a boy from my class, and we make t****k videos together." "Really?" She said happily. "Yes. Mom, can I have a boyfriend?" "What!!!! I was stunned, and Eyolf burst out laughing. "Yes, mom. I want a boyfriend, and he asked me out?' She innocently explained. "But you're still young, dear. You're not old enough to have a boyfriend yet,' I explained. It bothers me sometimes that my children are growing up, and I know I'm selfish. But there are times when I wish they were kids forever so I could take care of them. They're so adorable. "I want a boyfriend, mom," she grumbled. "But you're still my little girl." "I'm a grown-up, lady, and I want to be freaking big, mom?" I laughed. "Freaking huge.' Eyolf added, while cackling. "I just can't tell what you like about that duckling. He's so freaking ugly with his big eyeglasses on his face?' He rolled his eyes. I cringed laughing and at the same time, trying to hold it back, this was funny. "Don't insult Liam in that way. He's handsome. You just don't want to admit it,' She retorted and scoffed. "What is there to admit, he's not even impressive, just a ugly duck, and I just stated the fact?" He smirked. "Don't talk about him like that,' Kiara pouted. "Why?' He asked. "Because he is attractive and you are just jealous because you ain't got a girlfriend." He shook his head. "Nope, he's not attractive.' "He is,' "He's not.' "He is attractive?' She persisted. "No.' "Yes,' "He's not.' "He is.' "I said 'He's not attractive, come on, he's uglieeee and quit arguing with me.' He said reluctantly. "Eyolf, don't you...?" "Enough already, how about you both behave yourselves?" They both fell silent as I spoke. If I don't stop them now, they will be hell to pay. "All right, since you said it,' I turned to Kiara. "Do you want a boyfriend?' She gave a nod. "Kiara, why do you want a boyfriend?" I inquired as I assisted her in combing her hair. "Make t****k videos with him," she said sweetly. Eyolf and I burst out cackling so hard that the large comb I was holding slipped from my grasp. "That's the reason. You want a boyfriend,' Kiara remarked. "You are just dumb." "It's not amusing. After all, that's why I want a boyfriend. What's the point, when everyone has one?' She sighed. "You're so humorous, Kiara." He was still laughing, and I couldn't stop myself. She's still a child and has no idea what having a boyfriend entails. But I'm delighted I raised her well, and I will make sure they grow up well and leave their lives on a positive note. "Enough with the laughter; let's get going, your school bus should be outside by now,' they both nodded and began bickering, but I ignored them and led them outside to board the school bus. They're still kids, and I know Eyolf understands what having a boyfriend or girlfriend means, even if he acts as if he doesn't. I'm very familiar with my children. They quibble a lot, but that also means they get along, and as siblings, they love each other as well as their mother. As soon as they were gone. My phone rang, looking at it, I knew it was Eva. And I answered it by swiping the green icon. "Hello, girl." She greeted me cheerfully as if she were in a good mood. "What's up, Eva?" I inquired. "I'm fine, and guess what?" She exclaimed with glee. "What. You know, I'm not that good at guessing" I inquired, a smile on my face. "You got the job," she yelled over the phone, and I didn't care if the way she yelled hurt my ears. But I was so excited that I ran inside the house and jumped all over the sofas and table. This was the best news I'd ever heard. "Oh my God, Eva, are you f*****g kidding me?" I continued to scream. "I knew you'd be overjoyed, and I'm glad you finally got it," Eva exclaimed joyfully. "I'm so excited, thank you so much for everything Eva.' I said. "You're welcome, my darling,' she said. This was good news, I could do this and start working immediately. I never dreamed I would get the job so quickly. Luck is really on my side, for sure. "How are the kids?' "They are fine, they've gone to school.' "Okay, take care of yourself, I'm off to work, girl, see you around.'
