I slept in a guest room last night. I asked one of the maid to make it up for me because I couldn’t handle seeing Kade after he treated me the way he did last night. I knew Kade and I weren’t in love and this marriage was only to make grandfather happy and get Kade his official CEO title but I didn’t know what I did to him to make him treat me the way he did.
“Scut work” I scoffed to myself. “I am a nurse my whole first year on the job was nothing but scut work, if he thinks this will break me he has another thing coming” I thought to myself as I got ready for the day.
