I rolled out of bed still shaken from the encounter with Kade. I knew it shouldn’t bother, I knew this was all to satisfy grandfather, I knew he was still in love with Stella. As tears welled in my eyes I went and turned on the shower. I didn’t know how I could put up with this rude man for another day let alone the duration of our marriage. We had discussed how long we could go this charade and agree to stay married until grandfather passed away or Stella can home whichever came first.
