My alarm went off at 6:30 and I groaned as I rolled out of bed. I noticed that Kade was already up and gone. My mind was a whirlwind of thoughts as I turned on the shower and stepped in. How did I get myself in this position? How did I go from being grandfathers nurse to being married to his grandson and working for the family company all within a month?
I stepped out of the shower dried myself off and went to my closet to pick out my outfit for my first day of work. I picked out a white blouse with a red blazer to throw on over top and paired it with a black skirt. I pinned up my wavy hair into a loose updo and threw on a pair of red heels.
