I was supposed to be on duty today after the days off I took but I still felt lazy and ashamed to resume work.
I needed to be diligent. I worked hard to get to this position I can’t ruin it now over my emotions. I convinced myself.
After sipping my last cup of tea that I forced myself to take due to being nauseous I walked to my bathroom to shower. I let loose of my robe as I turned on the shower letting the hot water calm my body at the moment.
After my shower, I got dressed and prepared to leave. Grabbed my car key and drove down to work.
