Chapter 1 Save a Man
The night fell in late autumn.
A cold rain quieted down the entire world.
Leana put down the guide rod in her hand and took out the key from her bag to open the door. The sound of the door unlocking was especially clear in the silent night.
She suddenly smelled blood. Then a sharp dagger was pressed against her throat.
"Don't move!" A low and hoarse male voice sounded.
Leana's body froze and millions of thoughts flood into her mind. Did she encounter a thief, a rapist, or a terrifying serial killer?
"I'm injured. I need to bandage my wound at your place." Probably sensing her hesitation, the man said in a low voice, pressing a dagger against her neck, "Hurry up!"
Leana could only accept her fate and entered the studio. The studio was a three-story building. The first floor was used for the piano shop and the second floor for the bedrooms. The attic was decorated into the training room and the parlor.
"The first aid is on the second floor. I'll go get it..."
"We'll go together." The dagger was stilled pressed against her neck.
Leana's back was covered in beads of sweat. "Sir, the nearest police station is only 10 minutes away..."
Afraid that her words would anger the man, Leana added, "If you suffered from violence, you can go and call the police..."
The man understood what she meant and said in a low voice, "Don't worry. I don't want money or your life."
Leana kept her guard, but the dagger in the man's hands was not something she could get rid of. Leana could only bring the man to the bedroom on the second floor and hand the first aid over to him.
The dagger on her neck was finally withdrawn, but the man still reminded Leana coldly, "Take out your phone and put it on the coffee table. Sit on the sofa!"
Leana pursed her lips and put her phone down according to his instructions. She groped around and sat on the sofa a little further away from the man.
Leana could hear the man taking off his coat, followed by tearing off the gauze and disinfecting the wound... The strong smell of blood suggested the man's serious injury, but he never moaned.
Leana gripped her guide rod tighter.
Probably anxiety made her feel thirsty. Leana fumbled for a cup from the coffee table, poured some water, and drank it bottom up.
Soon, the smell of blood in the room disappeared and was replaced by a light peony fragrance.
If Leana could see, she would know that the man was controlling his emotions. His face flushed and his fists were clenched tightly. He was more than just injured.
Suddenly, a message was sent to Leana's phone on the coffee table. She subconsciously reached out to grab it, but the man had taken control of her phone.
He looked down and said, "It's a voice message from Gina."
Then he clicked the voice message. A woman's moaning could be heard from the speaker. One could instantly tell that she was having intensive s*x.
Leana froze again. Why the hell did her sister Gina Thorley send this to her?
Then, a man's voice came from the phone. "Baby, I love you. Did I give you enough pleasure?"
Leana's hand instantly froze as the voice sounded. It was Martin Wensley! The Martin who promised to love her forever!
Then Gina's soft voice sounded. "Martin, you are so great. Tell me, do you love me or my sister?"
