I turned my back, and he walked towards a shelf, retrieving a white paper. As he approached me, I saw it was a picture, and in the picture, there was the head of the Council, my mom, and him, all smiling. I was shocked.

He looked at me and said, "Tia was my everything. The first time she came to human society, she was drained and lost. I didn't know what was going on, but she was so tired." He explained that he met Tia through Cleo, who was a friend of hers at the time. Cleo had ambitions to become the head of the Council, and Tia agreed to help her in exchange for help eliminating her powers.

"With much struggle and the help of Tia and me, Cleo was made the head of all the Council," he said. "But soon after, she became a different person, obsessing over the experiment to help Tia. That put a strain on Tia and Cleo's relationship, and it became a scientist and subject relationship."

He continued, "That's when I became Tia's confidant, and slowly, she opened up to me. I saw more in her than just her powers – her brave but also fearful self. And slowly, we fell in love." He paused, his eyes filled with emotion.

"After she became pregnant, she became fearful of what the experiment would do to her baby," he said. "She went to Cleo and told her she wouldn't participate in the experiment anymore, but Cleo wouldn't hear of it."Tia's demeanor changed as she became more determined, while Cleo's behavior turned erratic. Despite the tension, we had a period of peace, and we began preparing for the arrival of our baby. The happiness we felt during that time was precious, and it was one of the happiest moments of my life.

That was when Cleo decided to pay Tia a visit and was shocked to see her pregnant. She congratulated Tia but asked if the pregnancy was the reason she stopped the experiment. Cleo suggested they could continue the experiment after Tia gave birth. Tia refused, and a heated argument ensued.

When I walked in, Cleo's expression changed. She put the pieces together and realized that Tia and I were together. She accused us of betraying her, fearing that we might take her position away from her. Despite Tia's attempts to calm her down, Cleo left furious, threatening that we wouldn't be able to take her position from her.
