Grace’s mood has been in a considerable down spiral for the past three days due to Ronan's house arrest. More than once, they had snapped at each other during class, which led to some back and forth bickering that Julian was helpless to quiet down. During these moments, Julian would look at Aven, who would blink at him, wait a minute, then eventually drop a random comment to Ronan that would have them engrossed in a conversation for the rest of the class. This didn’t seem to be exactly what Julian wanted, but it was all he was gonna get.
