Jamila Mikhail — or simply Mila for short — is an indie author based out of Ottawa, Ontario. She lives a quiet yet always interesting life with her cats Carling and Squeaker in the nation’s capital. In 2018 she received the title of Top Writer on Quora and various awards and delightful editorial reviews for her previous writings.
A polyglot and a fierce defender of human rights, Mila can often be found protesting on Parliament Hill or eating shawarma and Beavertails in the ByWard Market when she’s not sitting in a classroom or a lecture hall being taught things she already knows. She has a good sense of humour and likes to write snail mail letters because she tends to be paranoid of the spam and scams of social media.
