MOIRA'S POV

"Gina, what's the date today?".

"Fourteenth February, wait a minute, it's Valentine's day today, and we are still single, not even single Ira, we are singular, am 21 and I haven't had my first boyfriend yet, this is bad".

"Well sweetheart, it ain't a right of passage or anything, what if your so called first boyfriend breaks your heart and you stop believing in love, just wait has mom likes to say, God's time is the best time".

"But you know, I find it so cute when I see other girls dressed up in red going out on dates.The chocolates and flowers, just so cute".

"I can always buy you flowers and chocolates chumchum".

"But you are my best friend'.

" And?, who said best friends can't buy each other Valentine's day gifts.Its a day to show love, so I think anyone can buy you a gift".

"No chumchum, I don't think it's like that, you know if my friends wanted to get me gifts, they will do it on my birthday, if I wanted to show love to my parents, there is father's day and mothers day, there is even world's donkey day if you wanted to show love to one, hence, I think Valentine's day is just for couples, for two people who are in love with each other".

"Well you win there, so since you are single, can I buy you chocolates has your personal person?".

"Yes ma'am, you can, by the way why were you asking about today's date?".

"Ohh, it's because my period is late by three days".

"It's not the first time it's happening, and mine is not here yet too so don't worry, are you done?".

"Done with what?"

"b***h what were you doing?".

"Ooh, your hair, yes am done, you just need to wash it, blow-dry it and you are good to go".

"Okay let me go to my room and do that".

"I'll take my bath too, see you in a few".

Maybe Gina is right, I shouldn't get worried because my period is late, but, I still have a bad feeling about it, what if..no no no..no what ifs, everything is just fine.Since it a Saturday I'll just have my shower, take a walk in the beach and maybe help mr dumped in the kitchen.

Since we arrived here, I haven't heard from my mom or anyone at home,deep down am thankful for the silence, but I still wonder why my mom wasn't checking up on me, it's not like her to be silent on me.Even professor Jeff has not being around for three days now, well maybe am just over thinking and everything is just after my shower I decided to go out because I had a deal with Jake, but then I met Gina on the stair case in red.

"Mhhh..so Mr professor is back, with a guest too, a funny weird looking one at that".

"Gina really, why would you say that about a cute looking girl?".

"Cute you say, just look at her, too much make up,she keeps flipping her hair every now and then, am afraid the head might also fly with the next flip, that dress she is in, will suit a twelve year old better, and by the look of things she works out alot and that allows her to look much younger, but I guess she might be my grandma's age mate".

My laugh attracted everyone's attention, but it wasn't my fault I laughed out loud, I have a brain inside my best friend's head that I just don't understand how it functions sometimes, but I love her all the same.And Gina was right, because even the smile she gave us had we approached the four of them was forced and fake, she was definitely weird.

"Hay girls, how have you been,I kinda missed you two".

"You did professor, aaaawh, that's so sweet, you know that's the first time you ever told us you miss us, anyway Moira and I missed you too, and who is this granny with you, your childhood friend?".

"Ooh no Gina this is Davi and Jake's childhood friend, yeah she is alittle older than them but she is their friend Pretty girl, she was just passing by and I met her on my way here and so I insisted that she should come in and meet you girls, So Regina and Moira, this is Agatha, our old family friend, and by that I mean we go way back".

"Oooh,am really sorry Mrs Agatha for calling you old you just look like it,am Regina, Professor's daughter from another wife and husband,and this here is my twin sister Moira".

"It's okay sweetie, I know I look like a doll, so people can't really notice that am thirty five years old,and am not Mrs Agatha it's just Agatha or Miss sweetheart".

"Actually, your age is quite noticable because you doing so much to hide it, hence you end up messing up everything and now you look like professor's fairy grandmother".

"Well little Regina, I'll take that has a compliment, so how long are you guys here for?".

"Well Miss Agatha, that's a weird question given that you don't pay bills around here,but I'll answer that, we are daughters of this house, so we are here to stay".

"Actually Gina the reason why am asking is because, just has Jeff has said, we go way back, so I hope you are not here to take my place in the boy's lives,I have known them since they were in diapers, and I won't let you two little ants take there love from me".

"Ooh no we are not taking your place darling, you are still their nanny, and has for me and my sister, we are the would be daughters in law of this house, yeah that's the news flash. You've said that you guys go way back, but we are going way Infront, because you got the boys in diapers,we got the men in tuxedos, you got the past, we got the future ma'am, so in the future when we have kids, you can also be their nanny or their godmother your pick. Prof Jeff said that you were passing by, so ma'am, when you are done passing by, there is the exit door, greet my ancestors for me on your way back home, because if you ask me, you are old enough to belong to the spiritual realm,you should be there helping us fight spiritual wars,I wonder why you are still walking up and about this earth while your rightful place is there. Chumchum let's go take a walk in the beach,the air in this house needs cleaning, hopefully by the time we back the maids would have cleaned the place up.

Did Agatha deserve that,kinda, did my bestie overreact not really, the lady was alittle rude.Anyway, that's just the typical Gina, always has a befitting answer for everything.If I was in her shoes some minutes ago I would have just smiled at the lady, gave her a runway of insults in my head and kept quiet,so am kinda thankful I have a super assertive bestie.

Am also thankful that she decided to take a walk in the beach because I had received a text message from Jake saying that I should take her to the beach, maybe finally her wish this morning of having a date today is coming true.I would really love it if Jake and her were a thing,one because I'll be sure she is safe with him and I also trust Jake to take good care of her.

Has we approached the beach area near the house, there was rose petals lining the way,at the end of the trail, there was a table set out for two,the chairs were white in color with red ribbons tied on them,the table was also white, red roses were all over the place, on the table there were two plates of food that was smelling so good, a bucket with icecubes and a red wine bottle,on the side, two gold champagne flutes.Next to the table, there was a banner written "Will You Be My Valentine Regina".So cute, when did Jake do all this, I was in my balcony all morning and I didn't see it. But one thing was evident here, that Jake would make a very cute, romantic, love sick boyfriend.

"Chumchum, I know I agreed to you buying me chocolates today, but don't you think you out did your self today, like this is so nice and cute bestie".

"Yeah it's so cute, but am sorry to disappoint you, that's not my doing".

"Aaah,not your doing, if you didn't, who did?".

"I did, and am sorry I am late, I was supposed to be here before you guys, but you went ahead and upset our "childhood friend" and now I had to calm her down before sending her on her way, and I know, you find this weird, but believe me, I had asked permission from your bestie to quote you before hand and she gave her blessings, so will you be my valentine Gina?".

"Jake?"

We stood there, Gina staring at me with a " I will kill you" expression, me smiling from jaw to jaw and Jake holding a box of chocolates and flowers looking all anxious.

"Well say, something Gina,you are killing me with the waiting".

"Well, I'll deal with you later Ira, but for now I can has well enjoy this moment, are the chocolates and flowers for me?".

"Yeah, of course, everything you see here is for you, only you".

"Okay, I'll be your valentine, and I thank my ancestors for directing me to wear red today".

"Aah, here you go, you can have this, you don't know how happy you've made me today, you look amazing by the way".

"Only for today sir, tomorrow I might hate you, thank you".

"Okay, thank you Ira for bringing her here".

"You are welcome, but now I have to run before your date kills me with her killer stares, but before that I'll just steal the chocolates,bye guys, enjoy your date".

For some reason, the salty smell from the beach was making me alittle sick in the stomach, so I walked back into the house and decided to sit on the edge of my balcony wall so that I could have a clear view of the two cuties having a date on the beach.I don't know why,but I was feeling a little dizzy since I woke up this morning, and me sitting from this height,was making it worse. I was about to head in for a nap, when something caught my eyes,rather someone caught my eyes.He was on the beach, taking pictures of the building, which is professor's house,or was it me he was snapping.As soon as he noticed I was staring at him,he changed direction and started taking pictures of the beach instead.And in that moment, something happened, I don't know if it was because of the quick turn I took, but I found myself flying, not to the sky, but downwards, until I hit something cold and everything else went dark.

After a whole eternity of a having had a very peaceful nap, a voice pulled me back to opening my eyes.The first thing I saw was a an endless white cloud above me, wait a minute, did I die, is this heaven,but if I died,did mister dumped die too because his voice was calling me constantly.After a little concentration, I realized that that was a ceiling not a cloud, when I looked to my side, mister dumped was on my side holding my hand with a worried look on his face, Gina was also there with tears on her face and Jake was holding her hand, Professor Jeff was also standing by the door with hands in his pocket.

"Guys, where are we, and why is everything white, what happened to me, my head is so heavy, it hurts Auch".

"It's okay don't wake up, you need to rest, you are in the hospital".

"Hospital, what happened to me Davi, i remember I was on the balcony and there was a guy on the beach taking pictures of the house but when turned to look at him I started flying and then I woke up here".

"Actually you didn't fly, you fell from the balcony into the swimming pool below you and drowned, that's why we brought you to the hospital, you've been out for the last four hours am glad you are awake".

Just then, a nurse walked into the room followed by a doctor, she came and connected my granular to a giving set and opened the IV to flow, but I was still confused on how I fell from the balcony.

Professor then asked the doctor how I was doing and if my test results were out.

"She is doing just fine, the headaches will go by the time the IV is done, but there is some good news for you all,Miss Moira, congratulations, you are pregnant".

"I am what, that can't happen, I can't be pregnant, no, this can't happen".

"Calm down Miss, and yeah you are three weeks pregnant, so you need to calm down it's not good for baby".

"You don't get it, Gina, Professor, please make him understand that this is all wrong and I can't be pregnant no".

"Ira breath you are having a Panic attack, breath baby, it's okay am here chumchum, everything will be fine, I promise, breath for me, there, calm down".

No this wasn't happening to me,I can't be pregnant, at least not for him
