CHAPTER 15

Dad! I wake up to the sound of a car pulling into my driveway and without even thinking about the other girls or the time I’m up and running for the door to greet him. He hears me coming as he gets out of his car and stands there with his arms open waiting for me to jump on him, which I do happily.

“I missed you so much dad!” I say

“I missed you too baby girl.” He says, “Alpha told me that you have someone to introduce to me.” He adds with a smirk on his face.

“You spoke to the Alpha before coming to see you baby girl.” I say with a shock tease of hurt.

“Well, baby girl I had to discuss something with him before I discussed the subject with you, he just so happened to let it slip.”

“What is it we have to discuss?” I asked worriedly.

“Well” he scratches the back of his neck “I also have someone I would like you to meet.”

With that sentence I’m curious now, is it what I think it is? Has my dad been gifted a rare second chance of happiness? He moves away from the car and goes and opens the passenger side door where this beautiful woman gets out. I look her up and down then turn to my dad with a smile I see him relax more after I smile this just confirmed my suspicion. He was really gifted a second chance mate; I am over the moon happy that it has happened at the same time as me finding mine.

“Carter, this is Lilly, Lilly, this is Carter my number one girl.” I can’t help but get a slight proudness to the words number one.

“It’s a Pleasure to meet you Carter, your dad has not stopped talking about how proud he is of you.” Lilly says

“It’s good to meet you too, dad couldn’t have found you at a better time!” I say with a smile of approval.

“Alright let’s get inside we have a lot to discuss, we can all freshen up and have some breakfast while talking.” Dad says.

As he walks inside, he notices the other two bodies lying fast asleep on the floor and looks at me and says “Um, you made some wolf friends while I was away baby girl?” he smiles

“I did dad, Stacey is exactly like me.” He gives me a look that he understands what I’m saying “and Grace is my mate’s sister. He didn’t want me staying alone while you were gone.”

“I think I’m going to like this boy already baby girl, alright we will try and be a little quieter than, not everyone is like us early risers.”

We all freshen up with showers, I head down first and start making coffees for everyone as I can hear that the girls are slowly starting to wake up, so they will be first to meet my dad, I guess. Dad comes down and starts helping me cook up my favourite egg and bacon muffins for breakfast for everyone to eat, when Stacey is the first up she comes out and I introduce her to my dad, she then goes up stairs to get washed and dressed  not long after Grace did the same and then we all ate together.

“So, Grace Carter tells me you’re her mate Sebastian’s little sister.”

“I am only by like 5 minutes though.” She says

“Oh, so your twins, interesting I have an old friend that has twins it’s not very common with us wolves.” He says with a smile. “What are your parents’ names?”

“Oh, I think my dad already know you, Alpha Isaac and Luna Lisa of the purple moon pack.” Grace says while finishing her food. “I have already told Sebastian and dad to head around soon so everyone can get acquainted.”

Dad has a look of shock on his face like he didn’t actually know that I was mated to a future Alpha, that part had slipped my mind, I guess. I thought I might change the subject a bit. “Hey dad, while you were away, I did a couple of training sessions with Evan, Kevin and Sebastian. I got the chance to work on my new special move that I really want to show you! Alpha John said that I was pretty close to you with my fighting skills and that my move was almost better than yours.” I say proudly.

“Alpha John saw you training? He said you was almost better than me?” he says shocked.

“Yeah he followed Kevin and Evan over when you left and while we were sparring, I did my move on them and as we finished Alpha came out and had breakfast with us.”

“Well that is interesting, I look forward to seeing this special move of you baby girl.”

I nod and we all finish our breakfast and start cleaning up Lilly and the girls are getting along, so dad and I head out the back to have a quick sparring session before Sebastian and Alpha Isaac turn up. 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door Lilly and the girls let them in as dad and I were preoccupied with a sparring session. I really did miss having him to spar with whenever I wanted.

Dad and I ended up with an audience as Lilly, Grace, Stacey, Curtis, Sebastian and Alpha Isaac where sitting out the back patiently waiting for us to finish. Suddenly Sebastian yells out that Curtis and himself were happy to spar if I wanted to show my dad my move, I thought about it and nodded for them to get ready. That gave dad a break and time to catch up with his dear old friend while I continued sparing with Curtis and Sebastian, I hear Stacey tell my dad and Lilly that very soon I will pull my move off, so everyone had their eyes on me waiting for me.

I smirk a little at the fact she has memorised my timings, just like clockwork with these boys they work together to try and distract me so I let them think they have me as soon as I get Curtis on the ground I smile at him as I can feel Sebastian coming at me with full force like I have told him, I spin around and see his punch coming at me so I pretend to block him with my own punch but spin around in the opposite direction and fly kick him right in the chest and send him flying. I look at my dad and notice his big smile on his face full of proudness along with everyone else. Alpha Isaac laughed at the fact I could beat his son and begged me to continue training the boys to make them stronger, I told him I was happy to oblige.

“So, Sebastian, have you accepted my daughter for who she is?”  my dad decides to put some words on him

“Yes Sir, I have, I will do anything and everything in my power to keep her happy.” I could see my dad staring deeply into his eyes almost looking for any lies.

“I’m glad to hear it, she can be stubborn and that comes from me, so I am sorry in advance.” He laughs at his own words but so does Sebastian.

“When do you wish to take my baby girl away from me?”

“I have left that up to Carter Sir, she asked for more time with you and to finish off he high school year here in order to say goodbye to her friends Maney and Charlie. I have happily accepted her wishes.” Sebastian responds.

Dad looks at me questionably but realises why I said him, now it isn’t much of a concern now that I know about Lilly, I can see she makes him happy and she will look after him while I’m away.

“How do you expect yourself not to go insane while my daughter finishes the last 2 months of school here without you?” dad looks at Alpha Isaac with a wired expression.

“Honestly Sir, I haven’t thought about myself yet, I am just wanting what is best for Carter and abiding by her wishes.” Sebastian says.

“I shall talk with her later about lessoning the time frame for you, both your father and I know how much it can give yourself issues being so far away.” Dad looks straight at me.

“Please don’t push her Sir, I will do whatever I need to for her to come on her own terms.” I see dad admires his response

“Very Well, how long will you all be here for?” dad askes Alpha Isaac.

“Alpha John has granted us an extra week’s stay I order to work out all of this.”

“Oh, that is great! Well Carter will have school tomorrow so I will let you kids hang out for the rest of the afternoon. Isaac, Lilly and I will head out to do some adult catching up.” Dad says while walking off with the two of them.

For the rest of the afternoon we all just talked about random things and watched some movies until everyone had to leave so I could head to bed at a normal hour for school in the morning.
