Aria’s POV:
Have you ever been attacked?
Blindsighted?
Bamboozled?
Well, I have - multiple times, in fact. And this happens to be one of those times.
“Let her go,” I said.
The grinning girl tilts her head, “And what if I said no?”
“My brother is going to kill you if he finds out you’re messing with his girlfriend.” I never thought I’d have to see this, but there she is - Chelsea lying on the floor with blood and bruises all over her.
I thought they would’ve gone for me first; after all, I am the weakest link in the group of humans.
She laughs, and the people around her follow: “What’s that hunter going to do?” She tilts her head, and the guys kick Chelsea’s stomach.
Chelsea coughs, “Aria. Get out of here.”
