Chapter Eleven My eyes gradually opened as I stretched my body out, gently running my hands along my sheets, taking in the luxurious touch of my own teal satin sheets under my skin, as bright as the ocean. I reached over to my nightstand and pressed the button, opening my room darkening blinds, watching in awe as they slowly rolled open, displaying New York City and allowing in sunlight. I was home. I pushed myself up in bed and looked around my room. The light grey marble furniture matched perfectly with the linen and a soft, plush loveseat to the side of the dresser. Abstract art hung on the walls, and plants in every corner. Attached to the room was a rather large bathroom that led to my dressing room.
