Tallia glared in response. “You’re only asking now?”
“Still a long way out. And answer the b****y question.”
The woman huffed. “Yes, I’ve activated the dampener. Did it when we landed. Surprised you didn’t notice.” She tilted her head. “You’re tracking my trace, right? It wasn’t distant?”
Keelin bit her tongue. Everything about the woman was distant now, wasn’t it? And…and she’d put that haze down to the area, down to her memories surfacing.
