52: Brice Brice There were four guards outside the room. Brice felt their traces, and intercepted their sussed conversations. No way he was getting past them any time soon, so he turned his attention back to the room. There were four sensors. Two were obvious, hidden in plain sight, and when Brice reached into them, stepped into Haven’s system, he found the other pair. They sat behind one-way ceiling tiles, and had wide lenses that took in the whole room. All four sensors were rigged for audio. Macklyn wasn’t taking any chances. The door was triple-locked. The main lock and the one at the top showed on the system, but the tertiary one‌—‌the mechanism was situated at ankle-height, sent bolts into both the wall and the floor‌—‌was local.
