walking up the stairs, Elle heads to her mother's room but then halts when she heard a discussion on going...or an argument, "you don't know what it feels like, you never will, I shouldn't have let you kill my child, my very first" she could hear her mother's voice even though it was a bit muffled as the door was left slightly opened " how could you say that Hannah, he was my son too" "don't you dare..." Elle's mum retorted as she points a shaky finger at her husband " I was so stupid worried about all those stupid talks on being submissive when what I should have worried about was the life of my children, I've lost my son because of that stupidity..." she said tears running down her eyes "that was thirteen years ago Hannah, you've got to let it go for the sake of the rest of this family" Simon pleaded but his wife's face remained unfazed, Raelle pushed the door open and walked in and immediately both her mother and father kept quiet, her heart sank in sadness, "it wasn't anyone's fault" she said "and I know blaming someone makes the pain easier, but it's unfair because we're all hurting and we all loved him and even time has not dulled the pains of his death. so I beg you don't accuse anyone in this family of being the cause..." Elle said looking at her mother with a tender but firm look "thanks honey, but I really need to clear my head, I hope you don't mind if I don't come home early" her dad said kissing her forehead and looking at his wife with longing but heads out without saying anything to her. "mum you really should say sorry when he's back" she said after her father left "it been years Elle, but I can't forget that i thought it wasn't a good enough place and your father insisted, I just can't move past the fact that it would have been different if we didn't have to live here." elle drew her mum into a hug "I might not understand the pain of loosing a son but I know the pain of loosing a loved one, and I know we need people to rely on mum. we need family and Dad's your first family" Elle whispered. "when did my last child get this wise" her mum laughed amidst tears, Elle laughed as well.
