At 8:30 in the morning, Akankash’s friend Tarun called him from Pune. Akankash was still sleepy. Tarun told him he was coming to Bangalore. He would be catching a flight at 1.30 p.m., landing by 4:30 p.m. and reaching his house from the airport by 6.30 p.m.
Akankash was excited to have one of his closest friends visiting him. He asked Tarun if there was a particular reason behind his visit. Tarun said he just wanted to spend some time with him for a couple of days, Saturday and Sunday being an off. He would leave for Pune at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Tarun was his friend from high school and happened to be his only close friend in those two years. While Tarun had a couple of other close friends, he had managed to retain close friendship only with Akankash over the years.
