Reneé turned in her bed and slowly opened her eyes. The bright morning sunlight came through her windows and she smiled at it. She heard a bird by her window and so she got up to have a look and lo and behold, there was a robin.  Every time she woke up in her room, there was almost always a robin that sang at her window.  Whether it was the same one that came every day, she never knew.  She gently sat down in front of the bright red bird. “Hello friend.” She smiled watching it hop around. “Did you come here to see me again?” It sang as if to say yes and she smiled at it. She was happy to be back home. She had missed France terribly. She also loved Edinburgh. Edinburgh was her home with her mother. She thought of Edinburgh and she remembered Abigail and everyone else.
