Penny eyed Veronica as she returned back to the room.
"Where have you been?" Penny asked her nastily.
Veronica took off her hood. "I went to meet some new friends. Not that any of that concerns you."
Penny eyed Veronica suspiciously. Why was she looking so casual? Or had George not yet sent for her? She looked absolutely normal for someone that would have received a confrontation from George. Or perhaps George had not yet sent for her.
"I hear rumours that Abigail has now woken up." Penny replied looking at her nails. They were so ugly. She needed to have them cleaned. Well, after Abigail and Veronica had been rid of, she would have whatever she wanted from Sebastian.
"Is that so?" Veronica asked taking off her hood and setting it on a chair.
