Knock. Knock. "You may enter," the man said, his voice deep and calm—too calm. The giant doors creaked open slowly. No one appeared right away. Just empty space. Or rather… something. His eyes widened. For the first time, his smile faltered. This wasn’t who he expected. Not at all. In fact, this was the last person he ever thought he’d see walk through those doors. "You?" he said, sitting upright now. "What are you doing here, boy?" No answer. The figure lifted his head, and the moment their eyes met, he gave a small smile. “I’m here to kill you,” he said. Calm. Cold. Certain. The man tensed, leaning forward slightly. “So you’re the one I’ve been hearing whispers about…” he muttered. “Very well then.” And just like that, the boy moved. He charged.
