She was running through the woods. Something was chasing her. She tried to run faster and faster seeing a pair of red eyes not far behind her. The sounds it was making were demonic. This demon whatever it was wanted her dead but her little legs couldn’t keep up. She heard her mother screaming at her to run. What happened to her family? All she remembered was blood everywhere. Who would want to hurt them like this? They were always so kind and loving to everyone. She ran faster and faster until she felt like she would start flying. The demon animal was gaining on her and she knew she had to do something. As she came to the edge of a cliff she saw tiny bits of rock and dirt falling over the edge. It was to dark to see the bottom or how high up she was. “Please stop she screamed!” As the awful creature who smelled of death came closer she knew she was out of time and options. She wondered what had happened to her family or if they were even still alive. She backed up some more her shoe hit air, and she slipped into nothingness. With a loud thud she woke up on the floor. Where was she again? She stood up rubbing the tears from her face and her sore elbow. This nightmare has plagued her ever since she can remember the same one over and over. She wondered why she kept having it and what ever happened to the little girl. Than she remembered where she was and what had happened last night. She had literally fainted in front of everyone! To make matters worse she had asked for help from that wretched alpha male who clearly thought he was the hottest thing to walk this green earth. She had to admit he smelled wonderful though. “Shut up Evelyn!” She said to herself. How can you even think of that at a time like this. She tried to regain her barring and remember how she got to this room which apparently was to be hers. Her stuff was in a corner and already brought to her. At least she wasn’t to be put with that stuck up alpha male. As last night’s events came back to her she fell back on the bed. Oh lord! Not only did she faint but he carried her back to the room! She looked down making sure her clothes were still the way she left them. Just than she heard a knock at the door. She looked up only to be looking into the eyes of the demon himself. “You!” She yelled. “I have a name you know?” Gerald said coldly. “Yes it’s Gerald correct? “How did I get.. “Alpha” he interrupted. “It’s Alpha to you.” She looked at him and sneered “ Well excuse me Mr. Grand Alpha how, how is it that I was placed in this bed, you better not have looked under my dress!” She stuttered. He stood there looking at her his jaw twitching with annoyance before he said “ Of all the places I foresee myself being in the future under your dress is not one of them.” The two little omega maids who were bringing in breakfast chuckled in unison. “I’m also not in the habit of looking or taking women against their will however let me assure you that if I were to touch you you would be begging for more. With that comment Evelyn’s face turned ten shades darker. He seemed to be very much enjoying her discomfort. Gerald excused the omegas “You brut!” “What makes you think I would allow you to touch me!” She went to slap his cheek when she found herself up against the closest wall. His breath was right against her ear. “Let me make one thing very clear to you, I don’t want you here but due to a series of unfortunate events here you are, you will do well to understand that I am the Alpha and now I am your Alpha. There are rules and you will follow them or there will be consequences.” Evelyn’s heart was beating almost out of her chest. He sighed and stepped back releasing her. Gerald turned to leave, “make sure you eat something so we can avoid anymore instances like last night.” He left slamming the door. That beast how dare he. Her heart was still racing but she could still smell his scent of pine in the air. As she was gaining her composure there was a soft knock on the door, the two little omegas from earlier came in. “Luna we just wanted to make sure you were okay.” “I’m fine, he just angers me so.” “My name is sky, and this is my sister Noel.” We were instructed to be your servants by the Alpha.” Miss if we may it’s not wise to anger him so, he is known for having a temper.” “Thank you girls for your kindness, I suppose I’m known for having one as well.” “We started unpacking some belongings and noticed you brought many books with you, if you would like we can show you to the library here.” “Yes that would be amazing thank you.” Said Evelyn. Maybe she could make some friends here lord knows she would need them. She missed Riley and Malik something fierce and knew she need to work on a plan to rescue them. That was to be her next mission and to avoid that overbearing Alpha. She also needed to find out what the reason was for her reoccurring nightmare and who the little girl was she kept seeing. Something deep inside her told her this was a key to so many issues and she was determined more than ever to get answers. She knew there was no better place to start than the Alpha’s library. She decided to eat something and make the best of her situation. If she was to be forced into an arranged marriage, forced away from people she loves the most, forced to be here than she would make the best of it. She had this dreadful thought that what if the Alpha decides to make her complete wifely duties? She never had been with any man before although many had tried, she never showed interest caring more about helping her people and her little sister. What if this brut demanded something from her? No she had to avoid him at all cost! She would not wallow in her self pity, starting tomorrow she would go to the library and seek answers. The omegas would be very helpful in this as they seemed to be very knowledgeable with the history of this pack and even had spoken of the royal family and the curse. She smiled a little to herself having formulated a plan that she felt may also help Riley and Malik. “Hold on guys I’m coming.”
