Twenty-Five
April went down to dinner with Holly and Thomas and found Joshua sitting at the table with him. She watched from the doorway for a few minutes as he told a funny story to them and all three laughed. Holly noticed her first and smiled. Joshua stood up, turned to her and everything seemed right with the world. He was her world now. She loved him with all her heart and the thought hit her hard as she walked over to him. He reached out and took both her hands in his. When he smiled at her, she couldn’t help but smile back.
Thomas cleared his throat and Joshua grinned. “I think he is saying he is getting uncomfortable.” April laughed and together they sat down to eat. After dinner, she and Joshua walked out onto the side patio. She shivered a bit and he wrapped his arms around her
