Twenty-Six
Jessica Strong, drove along the road looking for a half-covered sign as April had told her. She finally spotted it and made the turn to head to Tanis Lee. She reached to her cell phone on the dash of her car and pushed the dial button. She had set the phone to dial April once she was this close. She listened it to it ring for a minute before her friend picked up.
“Hello? Jess? That you?” Aprils voice came through clear and even. Jessica had half expected her friend to be half asleep by now.
