Thirty
The next two days went by fast. Jessica and April traveled everywhere together. They made a couple of trips into Crescent City, once to see a movie. April didn’t want a bachelorette party, so they did the movie instead. They both enjoyed it and returned to the bed and breakfast tired and happy.
Joshua was tolerant of them hanging out together, often meeting them on their return to the inn. While they were gone, to the movie, he paid a visit to Teddy to tell him what was going on and what he planned on doing.
Ted sipped the beer he was drinking. “So, what you are saying is, this ex of April’s may want to do you harm and you are going to walk into his trap willingly. Why? If you have a pretty good idea about it, why go?”
