Thirty-Two Joshua headed for his workshop before going anywhere else. Inside, he went straight to the locked footlocker in the far corner, opened it and took out a Beretta APX Combat Pistol and tucked it into the back of his jeans. He slipped on a lightweight denim jacket to cover it and headed out. He skirted the inn, so Carl wouldn’t see him and headed straight for the cove. To a stranger, it would appear to be the perfect place to take April. It was close by, secluded enough that no one would see them, and with the sound of the waves, no one would hear if she screamed. Joshua didn’t doubt for a minute that Greg would want to wait for April to wake up before doing what he wanted to do. He would certainly enjoy her terror as much as the act itself. And that was what Joshua was counting
