The small district of Springwood is a serene place indeed. Gifted with the perfect balance of natural and modern world aminites. Covered by hills on all sides in a circular pattern in the middle lies the commercial and the heart of the district the "Central meadow" that is protected by hills on all the sides. moreover the people of hills also find it convenient to reach the town for everyday life as the workplace, the schools, college and the hospital alongwith a few malls and places like the cafeteria the public theatre decorate the town. The hills of this small town is home to evergreen forest that bore a numerous wild animals and a rich flora and fauna that bring in people as tourist during spring and also at fall to mesemerise their eyes with the natural beauty. however unknown to the people of the town there resides two werewolf packs on either sides of the town that is the opi North and South hills. one of the pack namely the RAIGING EYES pack resides on the north. they donot have a pack hoise rather they live as a community with their Alpha mansion in the topmost hill. The Alpha of the pack is an amiable and admirable leader with his beautiful generous and kind Luna on the other side that is the southern hills resides the willowwood pack in a pack house and a factory of willow timber mill from which the pack got it's name indeed. The pack house bears a strong and determined alpha who from time to time hires young wolf from the other packs of the country as deltas to work for him. but he treats the betas, and deltas very well, he even sponsors and looks forward to their education and health and never treat them as slaves. the pack shares their boundary with another pack residing in the adjacent district and they have a years age of rivalry. The packs however have never fed on animals unless it was some occasions or the annual hunting competition. In this, the willowwood pack has been living a delta who arrived Springwood at the early age of ten. His name Drayce Herlock. But he was in disguise he is the son to Alpha Jonathan Herlock of the Blue moon pack, one the oldest and original packs of werewolf. Jonathan is the chairman of the high order of the wolves. Jonathan was very insecure after various attacks on his family that he might lose his only son he sent his son secretly to Springwood. It was not that he lacked or had a compromised security but he didn't want Drayce to grow up in a confined environment not knowing the real world. He also feared Dryce might turn out to be spoilt brat If he received all his luxurious lifestyle. Drayce has been a student at the St. Paul's High school in central medow. He was good rather say excellent.in his academics and co curricular activities although he worked in the pack house every morning and worked in the pack mill every holiday that gifted him a good shape. Dracye is the best friend of David Richards the to be Alpha of the raiging eyes pack who is his classmate and partner in crimes to say. David is very popular in his school as well in his pack for his amiable nature. he doesn't distinguish between different grades of the pack, he is also therefore nicknamed the perfect Alpha David Richards has a twin sister Veronica Richards who is studying too but in the Springwood Central girls School. They are all aged 17. It was the end of winter and the schools have announced their classes on which the series of events will take place hereafter. The first rain of spring had already fallen and the trees have began to bud green tenders. The dust had all settled down and there was a scent of newness in the air of Springwood. The two schools are not close to each other but never to far, they are situated both in the eastern side of the town and share a common road to the district library that boast a rich collection of books. The town is a jolly town with a very few numbers of minimal crimes. people often know the third person they meet on the streets. The town is not too isolated not to mingled with the rest of the world. yet they see many new visitors and faces every year. currently the lodges and the resorts in the hills are almost filled by tourist that come to visit the waterfall besides the willowwood timber mill that witness thousands of immigrant or migrating butterflies far away from Norway. when Dracye for the first time saw the waterfall and the spectacular views made by the butterflies sitting on the walls of the waterfall he immediately fell in love with the place. Today is the night before the schools will be reopened and Drayce is busy sorting his stuff like his books,copies his dress. he has already polished his shoes twice. This year is going to be a very important one as this is their last year in school because they have reached class 12th and next year they will be attending lectures in the college. Drayce was so busy in his work when he heard a shout from the common pack room below. "Drayce you have a call " . The shout was from aunt Rosie ,the head chef and the head of the deltas of the pack house. Drayce exactly knew who it was on the other end of the phone. so he ran hurriedly almost crossing three steps of the stairway and landing just next to the telephone huffing. the minors that is the wolves below 17 were not allowed to use cellphones of their own. Seeing him panting Aunt Rosie said "are you gonna make the other person deaf by your breath or are you gonna talk with him". patting him on the back she handed over the telephone and went back to the large kitchen. Dracye picked up and yelled " hello buddy, finally tomorrow we shall meet after a month." "yes my dear friend , we must make this year the most memorable one ". David keeping up his friend's tone and pitch yelled. They chatted for a while and wished each other good night promising to be on time for school tomorrow, but Drayce knew David will sure be late and that too considerably late.He walked back to the common delta boys bedroom and crept under his bed. He prayed the moon goddes for a better tomorrow alongwith thanking Her for today.
