CHAPTER 3
Douglas had been feeling very agitated for about a week and he didn’t know why. He decided to phone his mum to see if she was okay.
“Hi, Mum, how are you?” asked Douglas. His mother was always pleased to hear from him. However, she didn’t know how she was going to tell him about Hope and Tammy.
“I’m fine. Everything okay with you?” asked Marjorie; it wasn’t that often Douglas phoned mid week.
“I’ve been very agitated this last week, so thought I’d phone to see if you and dad were okay.”
“We’re fine, Douglas.”
