I was thankful that Bradley Connors wasn’t looking to go to trial over his involvement with Andrew Riley and Hilton Jones. It would have cost us months to go through with the proceedings. He agreed to plead guilty to the charges. He was lucky that Nova and Jack decided not to sue him too. He’s already lost everything and there wasn’t much they can do other than tack years onto his already lengthy sentence.
When I got home for the afternoon, I was greeted by a sweet sight of my mate and my daughter curled up on Nova’s bed fast asleep. They had binge watched an entire season of some show on Netflix and sleeping off their junk food coma. I quietly woke Everlyn so she could head to work.
“Did you have fun?” I whispered as we snuck out of the room; leaving Nova snoring in her bed cud
