These past few weeks since meeting Jack have been amazing. He seems to have settled in nicely into his new life. He moved all his things from the hotel to my apartment. He was able to get a permanent job with the garage he was temporarily working at while he was in town. His boss was more than happy to give it to him when he asked; even said he had hoped Jack would stay around because he was the best mechanic he’s had.
My dad seemed okay with Jack and I being mates. In fact, it seems he and Jack have their own special bond with each other. I never felt like my dad was disappointed in having a girl, but I can see that he genuinely enjoys having another male around. Someone to talk cars and sports with.
