“So how has Nova been?” James asked as we headed into the grocery store. “For real?”
“She’s over the bedrest order,” I sighed. “She said she was going to ask the doctor to take her off at the next appointment.”
“Do you think he’ll do that?” he asked.
“I don’t think so,” I said. “He’s pretty adamant about it.”
“What do you think?” He asked.
“I think she should be able to move around a little more, but I don’t want her going out to the store or something,” I said. “She gets tired out really quick now from the added weight of the baby. The doctor said that now is the time that Jaxen will start to gain even more weight and bulk up to about seven or eight pounds by the time his due date comes.”
