I watched in horror as vines wrapped tightly around Kiko’s body. Mason dropped to his side and tried to snap them, but it was no use. The strength of an alpha had nothing on the dark magic winding around my mate. I felt Kenzie move beside me and she growled in warning. Panic rushed through me, unsure of what to do. Thoughts raced so quickly I couldn’t focus on my task, and I felt this fight slipping away from me. Mason continued to frantically try to break the vines wrapping around Kiko.
