There was a dark and subdued feeling in the air as they cut down the body from the tree. There was some discussion about how to dispose of the remains. Seth suggested digging a shallow grave, but the villagers rejected that idea. “He was not one of us, he shouldn’t be buried here,” they protested. In the end, the body was dragged off the mountain and left in the parking lot of the old lumber yard for the animals to devour.
