News of the missing girl spread quickly across the fields, and several groups joined the search party. There was no sign of a struggle, no footprints, no blood. There was nothing to indicate foul play. Upon interviewing the adults from her camp, there was no reason to believe she was unhappy or planning to run away. She had simply disappeared into thin air.
