Chapter 1: Monday mess

Tempest POV

Napabalikwas ako ng bangon sa higaan ko ng maalala ko na may trabaho pa pala ako. Dali dali kung tinignan ang orasan na naka sabit ka dingding ng bahay ko at nakahinha ako ng madaling ng makita ang oras.

"I'm not late, maaga pa" Sabi ko sa sarili ko at umalis sa hinihigaan ko para maligpit ko na ito.

I opened the window inside of my room, hindi pa gaanong mainit ang sikat ng araw.

"What a nice monday" I said, smiling while looking outside, holding my comforter.

Tinupi ko na ang kumot ko, at ipinatong sa mga unan. I tied my hair at pumasok sa cr para mag hilamos.

After washing my face, I went down to make myself coffee. While making coffee, I heard my phone rang.

Knight

With hesitation, I answered his call.

"What?" I asked, irritated. I heard him chuckled on the phone.

"Pissed already? I'm not starting yet" him, like i***t.

"Straight to the point, I have work" as I said it, I sipped on my coffee.

"Oh, yeah I forgot. So, I'll visit you soon. Bye" he then ended the call.

"Pisting ugali ay! Bisita sayo!" Sigaw ko sa cellphone kahit alam kung wala na siya sa kabilang linya.

So, I texted him.

I finished my coffee so I decided to take a bath. Naging mabilis lang ang galaw ko, at maya maya ay tapos na ako.

Wearing my usual style, large hoodie, and a baggy pants.

Nilock ko lahat ng pwedeng ilock sa loob ng condo ko. Mahirap na, tsk.

Agad akong humampa sa aking motor para makapunta na agad sa lugar kung saan ako nag ta-trabaho.

Naging mabilis ang oras, kasabay din ng mabilis na pag mamaneho ko.

7:25 am

I checked the time and yes, I'm not late.

I entered the restaurant and I saw some few staff cleaning the tables, fixing the chairs and many more.

"Good morning ma'am Tempest" bati nila sakin, tumango lang ako.

"Everyone, gather. This is a new announcement and listen carefully." I said once they are all in front of me.

"Ano po yun ma'am?" Lilith asked, so I took a deep breath and plaster a smile on my lips. They're shocked. Yeah, for the first time I smile.

"So, tomorrow is a special day for me. This restaurant will offer a discount to all who will dine here. Ahm a nice percent, so, maybe 10 or 20?yeah right. Is it a good idea or not? " I asked them but seems like they are happy to heard what I said.

"Ma'am! Ang laking discount naman nun. Diba tayo malugi niyan? " another one, Ben asked.

"It's okay, um just 10 percent then? We good? " I asked and all of them agreed. So cheerful.

"okay, Good. Go back to work and have a nice work today. " I said and turned my back to them. I went inside of my office and remove my clothes, and wear my fitted crop top, and wear my apron. Yeah, usual outfit every time I cook.

I went outside of my office, hindi pa masyadong matao pero may mga kakaunti na din. Pumasok agad ako sa kitchen to help them cook.

"Oh ma'am, kaya pa naman namin ma'am eh" sabi ni Anie habang nag luluto ng beef steak.

"I know" I said and started chopping vegetables.

Time passes by, I'm the one who's cooking the side dishes na laging ino-order. Sunod sunod na ang mga lulutuin, buti madaming chef dito, hindi lang ako.

I'm busy cooking for the next order when I heard a noise outside of the kitchen, and I saw Ben running and he was calling my name.

"Ma'am Tempest, nanggugulo yung isang customer, pinapalabas yung manager" kinakabahang sabi niya, agad akong lumabas while fixing my apron.

And I saw that old freak who's ready to crash something expensive things inside of my restaurant.

"Asan ang manager mo! I want to talk to him!" Sigaw ng lalaki kay Anie. Agad namang pumikit si Anie ng aambahan siya ng Sapak ng lalaki. Mabilis pa sa pagong akong gumalaw.

Nasalo ko ang kamay niya. Ang gaspang, tangnang kamay to.

"Ma'am Tempest, s-sorry po" she apologized with a teary eyes. I just nodded and Ben helped her to go inside the kitchen.

"Who the f**k are you? I said I want to talk to the manager! " Sigaw niya. Tangnang baho ng hininga

Tinignan ko lang siya mula ulo hanggang paa saka ko tinignan yung nabasag na plato. Tangna, ang mahal niyang plato ko pota ka.

"Who the f**k I am? I'm the f*****g owner of this f*****g expensive restaurant, and you f*****g stink trash who ruined my expensive plate from Italy. How dare you?" mahabang linyahan ko. I'm calming myself. But f**k that's expensive like hell.

"Y-you are the owner?" he asked.

"Kakasabi lang, potang bobo naman nito" sabi ko, sapat ng marinig niya

"Anong sabi mo!? " sigaw niya ulit.

"You'll pay for those things that you broken, if you don't I'll put you behind the bar within a minute." pananakot ko.

"Tsk. Hindi mo ba ako kilala ha? " he asked. Malay ko kung sino kang kingina ka.

"Hindi. So, pay everything. Don't make me repeat it again. " sabi ko at tatalikod na sana ako ng makita ko sa gilid ng mata ko na aambahan niya ako.

I move my body like an air. Mabilis kung nahuli ang braso niya at ibinalibag sa sahig. Shitt! Yung lamesa! Tangna. Utang niya ulit.

"Andami mo ng babayaran! Tangina ka. Ang mahal mahal ng gamit ko dito tapos babasagin mo lang? Kaya mo bang bayaran yan lahat ha? Potangina ka ba?! " Sigaw ko sa kanya habang siyang nakahiga sa sahig, namimilipit sa sakit na natamo.

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko sa bulsa ng apron ko at nag dial ng number.

"Come here, at my restaurant. ASAP! " I said and ended the call without waiting her reply.

"Lintik ka, pag yan hindi mo nabayaran. Sinasabi ko sayo, atay mo ang kapalit niyan" seryosong sabi ko at nakitaan ko naman siya ng takot sa mata.

"Tempest? Did you mess again? " I heard her voice. Savrhiana, my lawyer friend.

"The f**k Rhi? This fuckhole messed this, he even ruined your gift to me. Look! "I said and pointed the broken plates and the table.

"The f**k! That was expensive! You! f**k you, come here! Who the f**k are you fuckhole?! " Sigaw niya at hinila sa kwelyo ang lalaki.
