Chapter 14
The meeting ended, the others left, and Cody stayed behind with Dominic and Adam for the rest of the afternoon.
It was after six when he reluctantly left with his dad and returned to their hotel room. They met up with Cody’s mom and the three of them went out to eat. It was a pleasant time and Cody tried to force Tanglewood out of his mind. They got back from dinner, and Cody said good night to his parents. He returned to his room and wrote on a piece of paper: ‘‘We agree. Tell us what you know.’’
