Cody felt drawn to the spirit in the Ouija board. He was flirtatious and had a dry sense of humor. He pictured Luke Page’s handsome face and shiny white teeth, even though he knew it wasn’t really Luke.
Unless Luke really was gay and too shy to come out.
He went to bed early Tuesday and slept in late. He called Lin and asked for a ride to use the board. She asked how he was making out and he told her he wasn’t sure. She asked if he wanted her to pick up Adam, but he said he would get more accomplished alone. She hesitated, but he reassured her that everything was fine.
Lin picked him up amidst a much sparser crowd of reporters and brought him to her house. He rushed inside and returned to Luke Page. Or Doyle Howlett. Or whoever.
He asked to speak with Luke and felt a tingle
