Chapter 7.1 - Recollection

The Goddess whispered something to his ears.
"For the first trial you Matsuda should dream. Show me your regret."
The voices talked loudly
"Face your past."
His eyes slowly opened up
There he saw a familiar person standing beside him
"So, about that Suda. Meet me by the bridge tomorrow morning, uhm yeh bye for now."
The scene slowly fades, but Matsuda tried to reach it.
Matsuda: Sophie! Sophie! Don't go please. I'm sorry
Goddess: What does she mean by that Matsuda? Tell me.
Matsuda: Huh... Oh I asked her out... And she's supposed to give her answer tomorrow.
But, during that day when I woke up there were some messages from her and they were sent an hour ago.
I overslept...
If only...
Goddess: If only you waked up earlier?
Matsuda: Yah... I was really late I thought the reason why she was not replying was because she's mad but I was wrong...
(Matsuda got silent)
Goddess: Matsuda, tell me why did you still came to the location.
(When the Goddess said it Matsuda's cheat tightened. He was holding it as he talk)
Matsuda: I want to make sure... No, I wanted to check if she's still there or If I will meet her while she walk back home. I visited her home at first but her parent said she's not yet home.
And, then I arrived at the bridge.
There were people...
(Matsuda gulped his words, he can no longer hold his cry.)
"If on..ly
I...
Sorry...
Sop..hie.."
(He cried a lot)
And then the Goddess replied
"If you have a wish wanting to be granted, what is it."
"I... I want to save her. I want to be able to have power so that I can protect her too."
"Hmm I see." The goddess said while looking down at him.
After that the Goddess stopped the dream.
But before it stopped, Matsuda said something.
Then the Goddess smiled.
Matsuda is still fast asleep. She left him on the seat.
"And for that plea, I heard you."
The Goddess looked at Lance under them.
"And to you who have waited. You must know that fate is under your hands."
"You must now face this Grim that was corrupted."
The Grim slowly entered the place, It was sending out a lot of foul smell and a dark gas like shadow is forming around it's body.
"Defeat this thing and you'll be allowed to make a choice."

Notes: Grims get corrupted when there is an intruder while they assist a soul towards the afterlife.
But they begin to disintegrate when they're "killed".
