Not sorry

1155 Words
Almost immediately I felt liquid running down my fur but I wasn't concerned, I knew it wasn't fatal. I probably looked horrible at that point as a white wolf with red streaks of blood coming from the neck. My white color didn't help at all, not in this Forest but maybe in the North Pole….. The black wolf suddenly barked at the wolves getting closer to me and they all backed down. Except one which disobey and kept coming closer I saw a wolf coming near me while eyeing me with hatred, I knew what was happening next. An animal instinct at this point. He pounced from the ground and jumped at me with a murderous move like it was going to kill me. It probably was. The Ninja men stood ground, all were really tense, they were about to intervene but were too late. What on Earth was happening? "Do something you fools, if you had wanted us dead you would have done that a very long time". I launched myself from the ground, meeting it mid air and biting his left leg. The murderous look in his eyes was instantly replaced with a painful one. It dropped to the ground weeping as I stood next to it. Everywhere was so quiet with the only noise being the wolf beside me. I watched as others all looked at me with curiosity, they weren't sure of what my next move was whether I was going to kill him or not. I wouldn't though, he could be a family man. I backed off looking at each of them in the eyes as the group of wolves launched to attack me except the black one. They began biting me, I felt one bit the tip of my ear while another bit my back. My neck wound already healed but this new ones they are inflicting on me hurt like hell! From the corner of my eyes I saw a wolf running at full speed towards Richard, who was hardly breathing with his eyes open but he had a ghastly expression. I heard the Ninja yelled something at the wolf, something like "he is not a threat, don't hurt him" but I was way beyond that. With full adrenaline I burst out of the little space that I was trapped in and ran full speed towards Richard knocking down every wolf in my way. Every inch of my body ached seriously, for me to stop but I couldn't. I would never. Not when some mad wolf would kill Richard. Emily…….., Richard called out, his voice barely a whisper. I hit the wolf with my body, and grabbed his neck tightly with my mouth, sinking my teeth harder and deeper. The wolf began whining in pain while fighting to free himself from my grasp. Uhh, Score one for the freaking alliance! From the corner of my eyes, I saw the Ninja guys grab Richard's almost unconscious body, then turn to look at me. No! Never, you can't have Richard you pathetic humans! I saw one of the Ninjas said something to the black wolf before looking at me. I released my hold on the wolf, but kept him laid down with my paws on his chest preventing him from escaping. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my neck again but this time it was a paralyzing one from behind. I felt stuck, could barely move an inch, and for the first time that day I whimpered. That was a major downgrade of self esteem. The pain spreading through my neck was unbearable like I had been shot in the back of my neck without my knowledge. My vision wavered but I was still fully conscious. The wolf that had bitten me slowly let go, ready to strike again if necessary. I didn't dare move after the wolf let go, knowing fully well I would be attacked if I did. I laid down on my paws trying not to show my defeat. Then I felt a hand on my back, moving up till it grabbed my neck. Yes, that's it. End me now! Instead I felt a blanket on me. Now shift! The Ninja man who seemed like the commander commanded in a stern voice. Try commanding me one more time! He glared in the direction of Richard, his fist tightly clenched. Seeing that I surrendered immediately, I couldn't bear seeing Richard hurt. I was glad someone placed the blanket on me else I wouldn't have listened to them. I would never shift back to my human form, nude. I shifted back in pain, the hand on my neck released. How much it hurts when you shift when you are injured. I pushed up on one elbow and grabbed the blanket covering the rest of my body as I stood up on wobbly feet. Someone grabbed me by the shoulder, in which I guessed so I would not run away. As if I could when my whole body hurts like it is set on fire! I doubt I could go a mile without passing out. I looked up at the Ninja man holding my shoulder and rolled my eyes. I guess they didn't think that I could shift instantly and rip his fvcking head off. Fvck! How the hell did I think of that? I can't even shift anytime soon. Not after the paralyzing doze I had received earlier. A hand grabbed my chin making me look up to see a man in his late or early fifties. Although he still looks sturdy and has this stoic appearance unlike most of his age mates. Emily Stoutman, I guess. He said and my jaws clenched so I couldn't curse him right then and there. I put on a serious face and grinned before replying. "No, it's your mother" That earned me a hard slap on my face making me stagger back as the man behind me released my shoulder and instead grabbed my neck, and left arm to the back leaving only my right hand free. You silly thing. My mother was a million times the woman that you are. He spat as expected. He sounded like he was talking to a freshman who had just turned into a senior. The slap sting terribly, I rubbed my cheek while shooting daggers at him. I would gladly place some daggers into his heart. He let go and glared at me. You brat! I had spent more than three years tracking you down, now I can finally return home! He grabbed my arm in a tight grip. My left hand clenched tightly to my blanket and my right caress my stinging cheek. He let go and shot daggers at me. I walked slowly up to him and saw him smirk, thinking I was going to listen to him. I am really not sorry. I said which earned me a confused look.
