Where am I

1044 Words
{Zorin’s POV} I looked between the two versions of Amara, both were so different, even different from the one I had found before. “What is this? Why are there two of her?” I asked the question out loud, hoping that someone would have the answer. My sister sighed before looking over to me. “She’s been.. sacrificed..” she whimpered, looking down to the two small women in front of her. “Whoever did that to her.. he broke apart her soul.. we’re not sure into how many pieces.. but this is at least two of them.” “Kade.. he..” the angry version of Amara sneered. “P-Please.. don’t say his name.. I can’t..” the softer version of her whimpered, covering her ears. “If you’d have listened to me this never would have happened! You should’ve left him years ago! You knew he was a monster, and yet you were so afraid of being alone!” She seethed. “You don’t care to be alone! You’d prefer it! But where did that leave the rest of us? None of us wanted to be alone! We were all too sad.. or afraid.. or even hopeful that we’d be enough..” the other cried. “So pathetic, too weak to do what needed to be done!” The angry one shouted. “I’m sorry.. I should’ve listened..” I could see her, she was shrinking herself, hiding herself, trying to make herself disappear, something I’ve been known to do a time or two. “Hey!” I snapped, causing them both to look at me. “As much as you hate this, she is a part of you! You are both a part of one another, and acting this way isn’t going to fix anything! Your self hatred and second guessing yourself is only hurting you!” I shouted down at both of them. The angry one formed fists at her sides, while the other flinched at my words. That’s it.. she’d separated into her different emotions she’d had at the time of her death. “We need to find all the pieces.. to help her heal properly and put her back together again.” Arina said. “Like I want to go back into her!” The angry Amara sneered. The quiet Amara did something, unexpected in that moment. She grabbed her angry self’s wrist and bent it back. “You don’t have a choice!” She snapped, tears pouring down her face. “We’re dead, so get over it! The sooner you let go of that anger the better for all of us! You’re not better than us, you’re the part that we’ve always ignored for a reason! You’ve always been cruel, and crude, and I for one am tired of having to hear you!” She snapped, I saw her back and her eyes begin to glow, as the angry Amara began to fade. “No! You can’t make me go! Please! I’m not done here!” She shouted, but soon, her form vanished completely. Color began to come back to Amara’s face, making her look less sickly than she had before. {Amara’s POV} “I-I apologize for that unsightly behavior.. if you can just point me to the other pieces, I will collect myself and be on my way.” I said, turning back towards Zorin. “Wait!” The large white haired man shouted, gripping my shoulder and turning me to face him. He glared down at me, his eyes scanning over my whole body. “You don’t get to just walk away after all of that!” He said lowly. I sighed, looking back to Zorin, then Vael and the little blue man. I remembered them, from when she met them.. they helped me. “Vael.. Zorin..” I looked up to the woman. “And you are?” I asked. “I’m Arina.” She said softly. “And I’m Zeldryx!” The little blue man said, flying closer to me. He landed on my chest and hugged me, I hugged him back, petting his hair with my finger. Vael flew over and did the same, so I pet his hair as well, earning purrs from both of them. I heard a soft sound from Zorin, and a growl from the white haired man standing behind me. “Nice to meet you.” I smiled softly. “I’m Amara.” I said, reaching my hand out to her. She took it, shaking it before smiling. “Nice to meet you Amara.. come, I know where one of your other parts is.” She said, walking past the white haired man. “I said wait!” He shouted, and I looked over my shoulder at him. “Do not make me put you in another time out, you don’t get to speak to me that way!” I said coldly, turning and following Arina down the hallway. We walked to a large green door, she opened it, and led us through a living room and into a bedroom. A man with pale green skin, dark green hair in a low ponytail, and emerald green eyes behind a pair of golden round framed glasses looked over to me. “She’s there.. but she’s still..” he said, looking to the bed. Another version of me laid still in the bed, which version was this? I wondered as I got closer, my hand reaching down to grasp her hand gently in mine. Zeldryx and Vael flew to her side, lying down beside a small green man that was asleep nuzzled up to the other me. “It’s okay..” I whispered. “I’m here.. we’re here.. you’re going to be fine now.” Soon I could see my form beginning to fade, I was disappearing into her, I closed my eyes, accepting this fate, as I felt myself becoming more whole than I had felt in a very long time. When I opened my eyes again, I could see everyone watching me expectantly. I sat up, stirring Zvryn beside me, a wet wash rag falling from my head. “W-What was that?” I asked, looking around the room to everyone. “Where am I?”
