Andrew arrived at the Wind residence early the next morning. He stopped and talked to Sal and Micky before they all went and knocked on the door of the Wind house. The door was opened by Mabel. She smiled at the Avorn agents as she invited them inside. She looked at Andrew curiously.
Sal quickly introduced Andrew and explained about Andrew keeping watch on Hallie at school.
“Thank you, Andrew,” said Mabel. “I have been worried about Hallie being at school. When she told us about being sent on errands for her teacher, I realized the teachers are not taking the situation as seriously as they should.”
“I’ll keep her safe,” promised Andrew.
“Alex has already talked to the principal and made arrangements for Andrew to sit in on Hallie’s classes,” said Micky.
