CHAPTER 8
Lori left them and went to the penthouse to check on Crystal. This was the first time she had been away from her baby, and she needed to hold her. Mariam smiled when she opened the door and handed Crystal to Lori. She understood exactly how Lori was feeling. Her arms felt empty already. She was going to have to talk to Alex about when they should start a family.
Meanwhile, in the conference room, Trey stood with a smile when the door opened, and Greg Dalton entered followed by his parents.
Billy stood and stared open-mouthed at an almost replica of himself.
“Billy,” said Greg going to Billy and pulling him into a hug. Billy hugged him back and they both had tears on their faces.
Sam and Evie Dalton hurried over to where their sons were hugging and put their arms around them
