They say, first love never dies. In my case, I would say yes although first love is only a little foolishness and a lot of curiosity. That amazing moment when your crush has a crush on you. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that the person who you want to be in a relationship with likes or loves you in return.

At first the feeling overwhelms everything, and you feel like your life is complete. Then you will be realized that it’s not always rainbows and butterflies. The love you cherished will betray you. And you can’t control the situation.

Loving him made me the happiest in a short period of time. He became the center of my universe. Sharing everything, doing everything and dream for the future together. He inspired me; my world revolved around him. But he left me without saying anything. I’ve been ghosted.

As everyone knows, ghosting is a colloquial term used to describe the practice of ceasing all communication and c****t with a partner, friend, or similar individual without any apparent warning or justification and subsequently ignoring any attempts to reach out or communicate made by said partner, friend, or individual. It hurts being in that situation particularly when the one that got away is the only person who touched your heart into the next level.

Six years.

Destiny came back to the picture playing the role of rearranging my life. Either in a good way or a bad way.

Here goes everything. We meet again. The walls I’ve been created crushed the moment I saw him again.

Chapter One
Victoria’s POV   “I’m sorry darling, I need to answer this.” Margarette said apologetically.   ‘’It’s okay. Take your time.” I said smiling.   I was having a business lunch with my business partner and friend Margarette when her cellphone rang.   “Tell him if he cancels again, I will never forgive him, okay? Alright, make sure he wears the collections I sent to his house. Thank you, have a great day, Miguel.” Margarette said finishing the call. I smiled and shook my head. I bet the reason of her frustration is none other than his son.   ‘’I’m sorry about that darling. My son is just getting into my nerves again. Who asks someone to answer his own mother’s call?’’ she sighed heavily. ‘’In a meeting, I guess.’’   ‘’He’s really that busy?” I asked while sipping my wine. Every time we meet, she always has something to say about his son being busy and forgetting about her. I felt sorry for her and would like to punch his son for making this wonderful woman sad.   ‘’Don’t worry, he will come around. Maybe he is just busy. With the huge company to handle and a thousand of employee to maintain.” I said holding her hands.   “Thank you, darling. I wish I have a daughter like you. So beautiful and kindhearted.’’ She said smiling at me.   “I will always be here for you, Margarette. We may not be related by blood, but I consider you as my mother. You’ve thought me a lot of things, not only in business but also in life itself. I’ve learned so much from you and I am still learning. I really appreciate it.” I said in teary eyes.   ‘’I saw a lot of potential in you since the first time I saw you and your determination. You deserve everything that you have now, Victoria. You are an amazing fashion designer, model, businesswoman and a daughter. Your parents are very lucky.’’ She said lovingly to me.   I couldn’t control myself and stood up to hug her and she did the same. “Thank you.”   Margarette laugh and we came back to our seats. “We’re being dramatic, we should enjoy our lunch, darling. We should celebrate your upcoming spring-summer collection fashion show. Cheers!’’   After our amazing lunch, we decided to meet the day after tomorrow for the finalization of my new clothing collection being launch in a month.   I have known her since I was in the last year of fashion designing course, Bachelor’s in Fashion Design and Visual Arts.   She was there when I open my own clothing/fashion designing company, when I launch my first clothing collection, shoes, apparels and accessories and every event that I have. Everything has a touch of Margarette in there. I always ask her opinion. Not that I am dependent of her but for me, two heads are better than one. We are also a business partner, that’s why she’s always there for me. But most of the company is mine. 80/20 % is our profit share. Her part is being donated to a charity with children suffering from cancer. She is really a wonderful person.   We knew each other for almost four years and yet I haven’t met her family members. Even the “son” she was telling me. She said that her son is busy. Who would do that to your mother right?   Speaking of mother, I need to go home and visit my mom tonight. My Dad is away for business. I always find time to spend with my family. I also miss my baby sister. She’s busy joining my father’s company after college graduation. She is being trained to replace my mother as the CFO. Hopefully soon. She’s a fast learner as intelligent as my father.   My phone rang and it made me jump. “My goodness.” I saw Sam’s name on the screen. “Hello, Sam. Everything’s okay?’’   ‘’Hello to you too. I think you forgot something.” Samantha Collins, my secretary said sassily.   I frowned and asked still thinking. ‘’Did I?’’ I was confused. I know I didn’t have any meetings today aside from my lunch with Margarette.   ‘’Check you phone after this call.” Sam said and I frowned. We bid goodbye then I check my phone. No new iMessage. No missed call. No email and no other notifications from my social media accounts. What’s her problem? I shook my head and start my car. I’m on my way back to the office. I still need to sign and sort some documents.   Sebastian’s POV “Cancel all my appointments after the meeting with National Aviation Authority. I need to oversee the turnover of 15 amphibious airplanes for Russia.”   “Everything is ready. You can leave after the meeting. But don’t forget the dinner your mother reserved tonight at Leau Vive.” Miguel, my right-hand man and trusted friend said.   “Alright. I can’t cancel that right?” I asked stating the obvious.   ‘’You know you can’t, Sebastian. She’s been organizing this for months now. Have a heart and spend time with your mother.”   I heaved a sigh and stood up. I went to the small fridge to get a bottle of water. I was early in the office for some urgent documents. ‘’Alright. I’ll be there.” Miguel left my office after I dismissed him.   Business has been good for the couple of years since I became the CEO of Montecarlo Aerospace, Inc. When my father stepped out, my mom was a bit disappointed. She said I will be very busy and will forget to enjoy life. She knew how I work. Grew up following my dad in the office and business meetings, I was accustomed and oversee how our business works.   I have always been fascinated with flying since I was a kid. From kites, paper planes, into a real airplane. I always accompanied my father wherever he goes using different types of aircraft.   After graduating in college, I was trained in everything. Now I can fly any types of aircraft. I have my own private plane I specifically designed. I have everything in life. I have my parents which I barely saw because of my busy schedule. I can buy everything I want and do whatever I want to do.   Then a thought came. My mother always told me to find a woman whom I can spoil, love and spend the rest of my life with. Just like him and my father. I just laugh at her and she will just scold me, and the list is endless. She can be very persistent and told me everything about falling in love.   I enjoy my life so much. I don’t need a commitment. Women came to me willingly. After that I am done with them, end of story. I don’t like complications when it comes to women. Serious relationship is not for me. I’m afraid of the commitment itself. It’s not for me.   Those girls I’ve been with came to me willingly. I don’t force them. They know the rules. No hard feelings.   A sudden knock made me jump back to the present. “Come in.”   “Your 10 o’clock is here.” Rita, Miguel’s secretary said peaking at the door.   “Will be there in a minute.” I stood up and prepare for the meeting.   After the meeting we went to the hangar for the turnover of planes. I need to personally see the transaction. After all, I have a very special client, the President of Russia.   After everything is settled, I asked my driver to drop me home before meeting my mother for dinner.   Dinner came and I prepare myself for whatever my mother prepares for me. I am expecting the same topic.   ’’Hello Mom, I’m at the parking. You there already?” “Alright, see you then.” I parked the car and went to the entrance of the restaurant.   I saw my mom on the farther table talking on the phone. When she saw me, she gestured for me to sit. I nodded and give her a kiss on her cheek.   “Alright darling, I know. I’ve never expected that to happen.” She nodded her head as if the person on the other line is in front of her. “See you soon darling. I hope you meet my son soon. Take care.” she said and hang up her phone.   “Sorry about that son.” She apologized and gazed at me. I am expecting an angry mother but the look on her face says different. She’s teary eyed. I felt bad for ignoring her a lot of times now. I don’t purposely cancel our meet ups, something came up every time we had our lunch or dinner.   I stood up and hugged her tightly. “I’m sorry mom. I’ve been busy this past few weeks.”   My mother hugged me back as if I will disappear any minute. “I understand son. But don’t be a stranger to this old lady. I’ve missed you. Are you eating on time? Take good care of yourself, Sebastian. You look older than your Dad even in his bed ridden situation.” My mother said while hugging me. I laughed at her.   “Don’t worry mom, I always take care of myself. I’ve missed you too.” We went back to our seats and start ordering during conversation.   “So, son, how have you been? I see you wear my collection.” my mom started.   “Everything’s great mom. We just sold 15 aircraft this afternoon. We’ve been busy for the expanding thru Asian countries.” I answered while choosing from the menu.   “That’s good to hear. At least file a vacation leave. Enjoy and breathe from all the stress. Let your people do their job. You are worse than your father when he was on your position. At least your father spent his weekend with us. YOLO Sebastian!” I laughed after my mom said that. “Don’t worry about me, I am enjoying myself mom.” I said giving her a wink.   “You’re not getting any younger, it’s time for you to find your other half. I am expecting little Sebastian running around the house soon. What do you think, son?” I shook my head and smiled at my mom.   “I don’t know mom, maybe not now.” She gave me an angry look and I just smiled at her. Here we go again.   She signed and we continue our meal while telling each other what has been happened for the past few weeks.   “I want you to meet my friend. She’s my business partner.” she said suddenly. I stopped eating and looked at her. “Do I know her?”   “I haven’t introduced you to her so, no.” she said while sipping her wine.   Oh God, here we go again. “When?” I will be out of the country next week.”   “Are you free on Friday night? We have plans and I want you to join us.” She said giving me a stare that no is not an option.   “Let me check mom. I think I have a meeting on Friday night.” I said pretending to check my schedule on my phone. Don’t get me wrong, I love my mom but the girls she introduced were all a NO for me.   “No, you will, Sebastian or else.” My mom said with warning. I signed and nodded just to prevent her from scolding me.   After our dinner I brought her home to prolong our time together.   “See you soon mom. Say hi to Dad for me.” I gave her a tight hug and kissed her on her forehead. My Dad is surely asleep now. He’s been a bed ridden after I took the CEO position because of the accident.   “Don’t be a stranger Sebastian, I’m warning you.” She said hugging me tightly and looked at me with a sad eye.   “See you soon Mom.” I gave her a warm smile and wave. “Don’t forget on Friday. I’ll call you.” She said and waved goodbye.   I smiled and drove off.
