Count Killoran must be really in love with me.
I mean throwing me a birthday party? That’s insane and kind of suspicious.
“Why is Count Killoran throwing you a birthday party?” Brody asked.
“Because he actually likes me,” I shrugged. “Jealous that you’re not the favorite Rosaria sibling now?”
“Oh shut up! He wants to see you, by the way. To discuss the party.”
“Then I should get going,” I flounced off.
I entered Count Killoran’s room. He looked excited to see me.
“Hello Emile,” I said in my most sultry voice.
“Joey, my love,”
He approached me and gave me a kiss. I knew he was a horrible person with a sinister agenda, but damn if he wasn’t an incredible kisser!
“So what’s this I hear about a party?” I smiled.
Count Killoran smiled almost shyly. “Well, I knew how strange it would feel for you being away from your sisters. I didn’t want you to feel sad and lonely.”
Wow, that was actually kind of sweet and thoughtful! I guess he did care about me quite a lot.
“Emile,” I whispered. “That’s possibly the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.”
“Good, I want to treat you better than anyone else. Especially….he’s been doing so well, you know? Not one error so far.”
“You were right about him. He is useful and passionate about the cause.”
“Do you love him?” I nodded. “I don’t like that.”
“I know, Emile. But you have to realize I was in love with him before I knew anything about our destiny. I can’t just shut off my feelings. Marsden means a lot to me.” I explained to him.
He nodded. “I know. I just want you to myself.”
“You have me right now.” I pointed out.
He kissed me again. “That I do. I have the perfect dress for you to wear.”
The last dress he picked out for me was great, so I couldn’t find any complaints there.
“You do have immaculate taste,” I grinned.
“I am going to make this your best birthday yet even if it kills me.”
If only.
--
My eyes fluttered open and Marsden was the first thing I saw.
“Morning,” I muttered.
“Good morning my angel,” Marsden kissed me. “Happy birthday.”
I smiled. “Thank you, my love.”
“Count Killoran has the whole day planned, it’s like a holiday,” Marsden chuckled.
“It is a holiday,” I laughed. “Well let me go get clean for Joey Day.”
When I was in the shower, a voice infiltrated my head.
“Happy birthday!” Chloey exclaimed.
“Happy birthday to you too! What are the plans?”
“Mom’s taking the day off and we’re gonna just spend time all together. Me, Rune, Mom and Magnus. Raina and Cade are coming too.”
“Huh?”
“I know, but…honestly it’ll be nice to be around other people even if it is them.” Chloey chuckled.
“Understandable,” I stated. “Um…have you talked to Zoey?”
“Yeah, this morning. She’s good. I think her and Tate are probably just gonna have s*x all day or something.”
“Not a bad way to spend the day,” I laughed. “I hope Rune treats you the same today.”
“Oh he has fulfilled his duty on that, don’t worry.”
“Chloey!”
“I know. Anyways, I should go. I love you.”
“I love you too.” I whispered.
I missed my sisters.

Turns out Count Killoran picked out two dresses for me.
During the day and then for the actual party. Both were stunning. The day dress was short and pink. It had intricate lace details and beading. I think it was an older dress that was made more modern.
“You’re going to look amazing in that,” Marsden stated.
“You think?”
“Yes, but…since you’re not in it just yet I can think of something that would look amazing in you.”
He kissed me gently at first and then harder. Marsden slowly lowered me to the bed. He untied the robe I had been wearing, revealing nothing but lingerie. His mouth covered my breasts, nibbling and sucking on them before making his way lower.
He slipped my underwear off, shoving his face between my legs. His tongue furiously swept over my c**t, massaging it powerfully. I squirmed and moaned at his touch, opening my legs wider to give him more access.
Marsden’s head moved as his tongue swirled around my c**t. I had never seen him so into eating me out. I rocked my hips back and forth needing the friction. Marsden moaned as he shoved two fingers inside of me, his tongue not stopping for one moment. The pleasure was completely overwhelming.
Every fiber of my being was being flooded with pleasure. He sucked on my c**t hard, finally taking me there.
“Oh f**k!” I whimpered as my orgasm raced through me.
Marsden didn’t stop. I was breathing heavily through my moans, watching him continue. He looked up at me through his dark hair, a devilish glint in his eyes. My own eyes widened as my second climax hit me. I tossed my head back on the bed as my body writhed.
Marsden pulled away, licking his lips. His fangs glistened in the light. I knew we were about the have the most amazing Dark Vampiric Warlock s*x. I had let go of my enchantments minutes ago.
Marsden stroked himself while looking at me almost like he was hypnotized. I reached out and pulled Marsden down on top of me, kissing him again. I could feel him at my entrance. I needed him inside of me.
“Marsden,” I breathed. “f**k me.”
He grinned before gripping my hips and shoving himself in me. I easily stretched for him given how wet I was.
“f**k!” Marsden grunted, moving in and out of me.
I wrapped my legs around his muscular torso, hoping he could go deeper. I wanted every inch of him inside of me.
“Yes Marsden!” I cried out.
“Say my f*****g name again.” He commanded.
“Marsden! Right there!”
“You’re mine forever, you know that?”
“Yes, baby!”
Marsden’s strokes were becoming relentless. He slammed into me as deep and as fast as he could. His eyes rolled to the back of his head as his hand wrapped around my throat.
I reached up and pulled his hair hard. He wouldn’t get to have all the fun on my birthday.
“f**k Joey!” Marsden panted before pulling out.
He turned me over and lifted my hips, ramming into me again. We both cried out in sync at our new position. Marsden gripped my hair, pulling my head back as he continually thrusted into me.
I knew he was close. I tightened around him, causing him to gasp and pull my hair harder as he came in me.
“s**t,” Marsden sighed, kissing my shoulders before pulling out.
I collapsed on the bed, my legs shaking wildly.
“Now that’s a good birthday present.”
--
My party was kind of amazing.
Silver and black decorations covered the walls of the same room I had my ceremony in. There were dancing fire flowers and candles to light the room. Amazing food and nice cake.
Count Killoran knew how to treat a woman!
“How did you get in Count Killoran’s good favor?” Keene asked.
“Honestly, I have no idea. I think he respects that I stuck by Marsden through everything.”
“Makes sense, he’s big on loyalty. Let’s hope he continues to like you.”
“I have a feeling he will. I heard you’re going on raids now?”
“They’re tragic, Joey. I don’t know how Marsden enjoys them so much. He’s been so different lately.”
“He’s acting out of self interest and I’m more than okay with that. You know what happens when people mess up around here.” I stated.
“True enough,” He muttered. “Hey thanks for getting me out of my house. It was getting depressing.”
“No problem. I needed people too.” I hugged him tightly.
“Well I’m gonna get more of those fancy finger sandwiches.” Keene grinned before walking off.
“You look stunning,” Bryce commented. “Did you tell you know who about you know what?”
“I did, it’s being handled.” I assured him.
“Good…um Count Killoran isn’t suspicious of you right?”
“No, why?”
“I don’t know, you go see him a lot. Makes me nervous.” He admitted.
“Don’t be. I’ll let you know if there’s something to worry about. “
He kissed my hand before walking off.
“What is it with that guy?” Marsden asked.
“I’ll tell you later, you’ll be surprised.” I laughed.
“Joey, sweetie, will you dance with me?” Dad asked.
I sighed. “Sure, father.”
I let him lead me to the dance floor that was shockingly full. Who knew Dark Vampiric Warlocks liked to dance?
“You look so beautiful,” Dad commented.
“Thank you,”
“I’m so proud of you, I hope you know that.”
“What do you usually do on our birthdays?” I questioned.
“Miss you girls like crazy. Joey, I know I’ve made some mistakes, but it’s for you girls. So you don’t live your lives in the shadows. You’re much too important and powerful to do that.”
“So you abandoned us for the great good. Awesome.” I muttered.
“Soon, you’ll see honey. Once you’re around Count Killoran enough, you’ll see just how good he is for the Witching Domain.”
I almost wanted to tell Dad Count Killoran’s plans for me and see if he cared at all. Or if he would see it as another sacrifice for the greater good.
My eyes found the door where Count Killoran had just entered. He only looked at me.
Dad stepped away as Count Killoran approached me. I wondered if anyone else could see the love in his eyes for me.
“Hello Count Killoran,” I bowed.
I could tell he hated how formal I was being with him.
“I need an audience with you,” He breathed.
Everyone watched me follow him out of that room and into another one. It was much smaller and dimly lit.
“What is it Emile?” I asked.
“Seeing you in public is hard, Joey. I don’t like these formalities.”
“I know, but we have to be patient, remember?”
Count Killoran smiled before kissing me. “Happy birthday, my beauty.”
“Thank you. My party is lovely.”
“I have a gift for you. Turn around.”
I did as he said. I felt something cold touch my chest. I looked down and saw an amulet. It was silver and had a blue sapphire on it. It was so beautiful.
“This was given to me long ago…I want you to have it now.” Count Killoran whispered before kissing my shoulder.
“Who gave this to you?” I asked.
“Someone I once cared for very much,” Count Killoran stated. “Her name was Gwen.”
