10 Laurel could tell Jason was less than thrilled by the idea of going to San Francisco to talk to MaryJo Gaffney. Why, she wasn’t sure, except that maybe he just didn’t feel like cutting his vacation short to head back to home ground. While she could understand that sentiment, she knew her own situation was far more precarious. Had she really just agreed to walk into Ludlow territory all by herself?
