I tried my best to sneak in as silently as I snuck out, every step taken with caution. A smile creeper on my face as I began to approach the maid's quarters. I tried to open the gate without making a noise when a light shone on me. "Well! Well! Well! Look who we have here" an all to familiar voice said from up,i didn't need a shaman to tell me who it was before knowing that it was Sadie, the beta's daughter that decided to rain on my parade.

I spun around to see her standing on the balcony with a flashlight in her hands and a stupid grin on her face. "Sadie, what are you doing awake by this time?" I asked with a fake smile, I needed to get on her good side with the hope that she would let me go without telling my father. " I should be asking you the same" Sadie replied, grinning from ear to ear. "I…i…I went toooooooo……" I trailed off, trying to make up and excuse for why I was sneaking into the maid's quarters in the middle of the night.

I saw Sadie poke her hands into her pocket and bring out her phone, I didn't have time to do anything when she started recording me from the balcony. "Sadie please don't do that…..I will do anything" I pleaded, I really couldn't afford getting in trouble with my father. The last time I was caught sneaking out, he made me clean the whole palace all by my self. "Anything?" She asked, a sly smirk played on her face.

I didn't trust the smirk she had on her face but I was desperate to make peace with her so I dismissed my suspicions. "Ok then, since you're so desperate to not get in trouble. I'll give you a chance to make it up to me" she said and slid her phone back into her pocket. "Really? Thank you, I knew that you're an angel" I praised, but by the look she had on her face, I could tell that I had spoken too soon. "Calm your horses, i never said I was letting you go for free" she said making my face drop.

"I will let you go if you can talk to that hot friend of yours into going on a date with me" she said, I frowned at her request, the hot friend she happened to be talking about was Phillip, Phillip was my only friend in the pack and I had a huge crush on him. I knew that Phillip also had a crush on Sadie and have been doing everything to make sure that they don't end up together but here Sadie was asking me to play Cupid for them.

I thought about it for a while, I was stuck between saving myself or saving my love. Having no other choice, I agreed to talk Phillip into dating her. "Good, you have twenty four hours, if he doesn't come ask me out in the next twenty four hours then I'll show the alpha this video of you sneaking in at midnight" she said and left the balcony. I glared at the empty balcony after she had gone wishing I could go over there and teach her a lesson, but I knew better that to go up against Sadie.

Even of she was just the Beta's daughter while I was the Alpha's daughter, but she was way stronger than me and was treated like a rare gem while I lived like a slave in my own pack. I slid open the gate to the maid's quarters and snuck in before someone else would catch me standing outside.

It was a hot afternoon and it felt even hotter while I washed my father's cars. I was assigned to wash them with the other maids but as usual, they dumped it all on my and went to a corner to gossip, but their gossip was cut short when my father walked into the garage with his guards. I spotted Phillip stamding amongst the guards and he shot me a smile when our eyes met. He was a royal guard, had been training to be one since he was a kid and he happened to be the best one in the pack.

"What do you mean you've only washed two cars!" Father yelled, I noticed the other maids sent my side glared as if to blame me for not washing the cars fast enough. "We're sorry Sire, we have been working so hard all moon but one person has refused to do any work and even kept slowing the rest of us down" someone said, it was the head maid's daughter. I knew that she was talking about me, she was going to push all the blame on me as usual.

"I bet it's Hailey again" father said and rolled his eyes as if he had been expecting that, I couldn't stop the tears that welled in my eyes as my own father just completely believed her without asking me, his daughter about my side of the story. It didn't matter though, even if he did ask me where for my side of the story, there was no way I would tell him that I would rat the maids out. If i ever did that, they would make sure that i lived to regret it. I stayed quiet as all the blame was on me and my father believed every single lie that he was told.

"Hailey, you're getting lazier by the minute and this time your laziness will not go unpunished, but that will have to wait until I get back from my meeting with the Euphoria Pack" he said and began to head to a car. He was about to get in when his phone buzzed and he stopped to look at whatever caused it to vibrate. I watched as his eyes widened in horror and he turned to glare at me. "Sadie please don't do that…..I will do anything" I heard my voice and it only took me a second to realise what had happened, Sadie had ratted me out.
