As I pushed open the rusted gate, my heart raced with fear and anticipation. The overgrown compound of Madame Kate Alice loomed before me, shrouded in an eerie silence that sent shivers down my spine. The air was thick with an unexplainable sense of foreboding, and I couldn't help but feel as though I was being watched by something sinister lurking in the shadows. With each step I took, I felt as though the darkness was closing in on me, suffocating me with its malevolent presence. How it all started there was a beautiful and kind-hearted woman named Madame Alice. She was loved by everyone in the neighborhood, especially the children who adored playing with her daughters, Martha and Linda. Madame Alice's house was always filled with laughter, joy, and happiness. Rumor had it started when a tragedy struck Madame Alice's family. Her husband and children disappeared without a trace, leaving her all alone. Despite this devastating event in her life, Madame Alice remained composed and put up a brave front. But little did anyone know that deep down, she was consumed by a sense of sweet horror that she could never shake off. People began to speculate about her strange behavior, and rumors started to spread. Some whispered that Madame Alice had something to do with the disappearance of her own family. Others believed that she was simply trying to hide her pain and grief. But no one could ever uncover the truth behind the sweet horror that haunted Madame Alice's life. Gradually, the residents of a small town began to notice a strange change in the demeanor of Madame Alice. People whispered about her in hushed tones, expressing surprise and despair as they recounted their interactions with her. On the second day, the detective began investigating the area after noticing that people had been disappearing. They knocked on Madame Alice's door and she warmly greeted them. One of the detectives asked about the disappearances, to which Madame Alice replied that she did not know what they were talking about. She assured them that their neighborhood was a peaceful place. She assured them "No one in the neighborhood could do such a thing."One of the police officers said, "If you notice anything strange, please let us know." The other officer then handed Madame Alice a piece of paper. She waved goodbye to them and glanced at the paper. It was a number. She threw it away and closed the door. As she closed the door, she sneaked a peek outside through the curtains to make sure the cops were gone. Once she confirmed it, she quietly made her way upstairs.
