"Adi?" Elliot whispered, standing in the doorway of my room. "Yes, hello Elliot," I spoke, trying my best to keep a grip on composure.  I brought my stare to him, and I could feel my walls crumble. His eyes locked with mine, and I instantly felt guilt wash over me. I ripped my gaze from him, staring at my fingernails.  "I, er- I missed you. Can I, can I hug you?" He asked, stepping closer to me. "Yes, of course," I whispered, rising from the desk chair. I walked to him slowly, before pressing my ear to his chest and snaking my arms around his waist. His arms found their way around my shoulders and rested there for quite some time. I felt his slow breaths leave his nose and his chest rose with each new breath.  Elliot placed his hands on my shoulders, pulling me back so I could make eye contact with him.  "Adi, can we lay down? I don't feel so good." He looked at me, his eyes wildly traveling over my face. "Um, yeah. Sure." I said, looking at him. He placed his hand on the small of my back, guiding me to the small bed in the corner. He sat down before rolling himself close to the wall, leaving room for me to lay next to him. I sat down on the bed in the clear spot, staring at the creases in his forehead. His arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer to him.  He laid his head on my shoulder,  arms wrapped around my waist, his torso pinned to my ribs.  "Adi?" "Yes, Elliot."  I knew my tone was anything but comforting, it wasn't even a proper response. I couldn't help letting myself imagine Gage laying next to me in the same manner. "I know that your mother has told you my intentions." "Yes, she has." "Are they what you want as well? Do you want to be with me?"  He stared at me with an innocent glow, his face resembling a child's.  "I don't know yet. I feel like I'm on a tipping scale right now, and I don't know which way to lean." "There is someone else? On the other side of the scale, I mean." "Um, yes. There is." "May I ask who?" With this remark, I could feel his jaw tighten and clench against my skin. His eyes no longer looked soft but angered and upset. "I don't know his name. He approached me and claimed I was his." "Do you think you are his?" I let a sigh escape, hoping my message was clear to him. I don't know. "I know it can't be true, but I'm not positive." Elliot growled under his breath, and I knew he was not happy.  "I'll be back." He grumbled, getting up from my bed unhappily.  My door slammed, and I couldn't grasp what just happened. Elliot got jealous of someone else, I'm not even his.  --- I woke to someone's heavy breathing above me. I blinked once, maybe twice, trying to shake the darkness in my eyes. After three blinks, I still couldn't see.  I rose my hands to rub my eyes, but instead of my eyelids, I felt a thick material.  I tried pulling at it, but it wasn't my blanket.  Soft chuckles echoed above me before a sharp pain struck my temple. I can slowly feel a blackness falling around me, and a pair of chocolate eyes swallowed mine till we were no longer staring at each other.
