The brothers looked at each other. “Am I going to school or not?” I asked and Lucas walked over and nodded, putting his hand on the small of my back, I felt my breath hitch and my heart start pounding. I knew that the brothers could hear it. I could hear a low growl come from behind me followed by Axel speaking. “I’m coming too” he said.

I walked out to the car it was a slick black BMW it was beautiful I was never allowed to touch it never mind ride in it. Lucas took my backpack and gave it to Axel “here take the Luna’s bag little bro” Lucas said as he opened the passenger side door for me. I got in and sighed.

“She isn’t the Luna” Axel said “not yet but she will be” Lucas said he was so sure I would say yes. “Lucas she hasn’t said yes, and you don’t care about her you have treated her like crap” Axel said. “I thought I said stay in your place baby bro” Lucas growled.

“Stop! Stop talking about me like I’m not here!” I shouted.

Both wolves got quiet and got in the car, Axel in the back seat holding my backpack and Lucas in the driver's seat. “You can tear each other apart later when I’m not around but I don’t care to hear it” I said grumbly.

“she’s right we were acting like pups. Little Luna forgive me you are not a prize you are a beautiful girl and I want to take care of you” Lucas looked at me I felt my face heat up and I looked out the window. I could hear Axel snarl from the backseat clearly not buying Lucas’s act.

I shouldn’t either, I mean I have dreamt of this Lucas wanting me as much as I wanted him. But he was always so cruel and mean to me and Axel was always so kind. A normal girl would pick Axel no question. But I’m not a normal girl and they are anything but normal boys.

Lucas pulled up to my school and I flew out of the car like I was escaping a kidnapping. I thought I was finally in the clear when I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was Axel. “Forget something liv?” he asked and smiled at me. His dimples make me melt. The other girls swooned over the boy I just nodded and took it from him “thanks” I mumbled. “You’re welcome liv see you after school.” He spoke going back to the car.

After they left, I went inside avoiding the girls glaring daggers at me and others trying to talk to me when they never noticed me before. I finally got to the band room and dropped my bag on the floor and closed the door and leaned my back against the door trying to catch my breath.

“Wow you look like crap what happened to you?” a familiar voice asked I snapped my head in the direction of the voice and broke out into a smile. “Christian” is spoke in a relived breath. Christian was my best friend. Well one of the two that I have he's tall, not as tall as Lucas, but he is tall, maybe 5’10 if I had to guess. He was thin and had stringy blond hair and cold blue eyes. He was a werewolf too his dad is actually an alpha.

He walked me over to the chairs he was sitting in at the back corner, that’s where we hang out. I sat down and he pulled the hair tie out of my hair and fluffed my brown hair. I always hated my brown hair, what a boring color. Christian and I looked up when the door opened again. A beautiful familiar head of red hair walked in with coffee. She seen me and smiled “hey Olive!” she squealed. But I didn’t have time to respond.

“Lacy I need a hair brush stat” Christian spoke Lacy grabbed the brush she always had in her back and handed it to him. She sat beside him on the table behind my chair. “What happened this time? Did you get slushied in the face again?” lacy asked.

"Her face isn’t blue or purple Lace” Christian spoke. “Right! Well, what happened?” Lacy asked again. “Nothing Lace I was just running, and my hair started falling down no big deal” I spoke. “Running? Olive you never run for anything” Lacey said like she couldn’t believe I was running. “so...” I started to say. “She has a point last year you took the f instead of running the mile in P.E.” Christian spoke.

“She doesn’t even run if there are shoes on sale” lacy giggled Christian smiled at her Christian had always had a crush on Lacy but never told her he only told me. “If you guys are done laughing at me and the thought of me running. I will tell you” I spoke they both looked at me. “Was a wolf chasing you?” Lacy asked her green eyes looking at me she is a werewolf too. Wolf jokes and jokes and my expense are all she knows.

“Come on Olive we would never laugh at you only with you” Christian spoke as he brushed out my hair. “This morning Lucas and Axel were acting strange” I started. “Tell us something we don’t know” Lacy said. “Let her finish Lace” Christian spoke putting my hair up. “Lucas said I was his mate and he wanted to turn me and make me his Luna. And Axel was being oddly protective.” I told my friends.

“Well, it’s not that odd Axel is in love with you Ollie” Lacy giggled using yet another cutesy nickname. “What no way! He isn’t in love

with me Lace” I shook my head in protest. “don’t act like you didn’t already know it’s obvious” Christian spoke and if Christian seen something then it had to be true. “Well let’s say you’re right what am I supposed to do start dating Axel? Reject Lucas?” I asked. “No, you can’t reject an Alpha are you crazy?!” Lacy shouted at me.

“Well, I don’t want to date him he is cruel!” I shouted back and they both looked at me like they didn’t know what to say. “I just want to graduate and leave and never come back” I admitted. “What about us?” Lacy asked. “Lace she isn’t a wolf” Christian spoke
