Chapter 8: JAREDS FAMILY RESORT****Restaurant Day****

**Yana and Jared PoV**

Yana and Jared sit at a cozy table by the window, overlooking the breathtaking view of the resort's gardens. They are lost in conversation, their laughter mingling with the gentle hum of other diners. The aroma of freshly cooked meals fills the air, adding to the ambiance of tranquility.

YANA: (smiling) Can you believe how amazing this trip has been? I feel like I'm living in a dream.

JARED: (grinning) Yeah, it's been perfect. Just you, me, and this beautiful place.

As they clasp hands across the table, the serene atmosphere is suddenly shattered by the sound of a breaking news alert on the nearby TV screen. They both turn to see what's happening, their expressions shifting from contentment to concern.

NEWS ANCHOR (on TV): We interrupt this program for a breaking news report. An elderly man has made a heartfelt plea to the world, seeking help in finding his long-lost granddaughter.

The camera cuts to an image of an elderly man, tears glistening in his eyes as he speaks directly into the camera.

ELDERLY MAN: (voice trembling) My dear Eliana, if you're out there, please come back to me. I've spent years searching for you, longing to hold you in my arms once again. I never stopped loving you, my sweet girl.

Yana's heart skips a beat as she watches the screen, a sense of unease creeping over her.

YANA: (whispering) Jared, did you hear that? It's like he's talking to me.

JARED: (concerned) What do you mean?

Before Yana can respond, the news report continues, revealing shocking details that leave her speechless.

NEWS ANCHOR (on TV): It has been revealed that Eliana, the missing granddaughter, was adopted at the age of two and may not be aware of her true identity. Her biological grandfather, who has been searching for her tirelessly, has issued a plea for anyone with information to come forward.The old man even showed an old photo of a 2 year old sweet girl.

Yana's hands tremble as she covers her mouth, her mind racing with a whirlwind of emotions.

As she stops the screen to see the photo shown in the screen,Yana can’t explain her emotion as she saw herself in that sweet little girl on the screen.

YANA: (voice trembling) Jared, I... I think... I think that man is talking about me.Look at the photo! It has a resemblance to my photos when I was young.I saw it in the black box that my mom keeps under her bed.

Jared's eyes widen in disbelief as he reaches out to comfort her, his own heart heavy with the weight of the revelation.

JARED: (softly) Yana, are you saying... you think you might be Eliana?

Yana nods, tears welling up in her eyes as memories from her childhood begin to resurface.

YANA: (choked up) I-I've always known I was adopted, but I never imagined... I never knew... But as far as I know ,Mama Malinda is my biological mother and my Dad is my biological father because they never mentioned anything about the adoption.

My mom is with my Aunt for now as I am here in the city for my job and I just visit her every time I have a day off or whenever I am free.

I need to visit her as soon as I can, because I want to know everything and hope it will stay as our secret until I find out the truth about my real identity,Yana exclaimed.

Jared wraps his arms around her, pulling her close as she buries her face in his chest, seeking solace in his embrace.

JARED: (gentle) We'll figure this out together, Yana. Whatever happens, I'll be right here by your side.I promise to be with you and stay with you no matter what happen.We will face this together.

As they hold each other amidst the chaos of emotions, Yana can't help but feel grateful for Jared's unwavering support. Despite the uncertainty that lies ahead, she knows that with him by her side, she'll find the strength to face whatever the future holds.

Meanwhile…Jared can’t help himself thinking about the old man because he recognised the face of the old man as Rachel’s Grandfather as they had already met once.

He was so worried about Yana because he knows if Rachel will find out about the secret identity of the love of his life, it might trigger Rachel’s evil attitude.

The thought was consuming him. He took out his phone and called his assistant to conduct an investigation about Yana Smith.

JARED;(Dialing his phone).Dylan,I want you to investigate Yana Smith and Miggy Anderson(Rachel’s grandfather.”

DYLAN: Yes Jared, I will send the result to your email address as soon as I finish the investigation,He replied to Jared.

After their phone call ended,Jared entered the room and joined Yana in bed.Once again,they lost themselves in each other, cherishing the intimacy of the moment.

They were reluctant to part,their passion carrying them through multiple shared climaxes.
